“The hotel is being refurbished.”

When I drove up to the hotel, I noticed two things. First the roof was being reshingled and the sign indicated "Under new Ownership." There were paint cans in the lobby and it smelled of fresh paint. The hotel is being updated, but no telling when it will be done. The WiFi worked very well and that was probably the best thing about the hotel. I didn't think you could mess up a continential breakfast. The apple juice tasted like water with a splash of syrup and the English muffin had no taste at all. This isn't the worst hotel that I have stayed in, but it is in the top five.

Area recommendations
I only spent one night in Cheyenne. I drove through the downtown area and didn't see any area that I would recommend. I think the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce needs to convince the local town fathers to try to update Cheyenne to make it a more desirable destination.

“Cheyenne lodging”

This is not a fancy hotel, but it was certainly adequate especially for the price. The carpet in the halls was worn, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and toast, cereal, coffee and tea were provided. The front desk staff were pleasant.

“Great for the price”

Though close to the railroad, traffic did not affect my sleep as the air conditioning system provides a "white noise" cover. Merals available at the nearby Village Inn.

“"Not Impressed"”

Web site said indoor pool, hotel did not have a pool. Had to look at three rooms before finding a clean one

“Not Bad for the Money”

Even though the online reviews for this hotel were mediocre, it was a decent place to stay. Not top of the line but reasonably clean, the lowest price for the area and sufficient for a single night's stay.

“Good overnight stop”

We were traveling through by interstate This motel was convenient and well run. No coffee maker in the room, but free coffee/hot water available 24hrs/day in lobby made up for it.
