We needed a last minute place to stay. It was mostlty clean. No hot water, Towels were stained. Biggest aggravation was telling them i dont want room service and they still came in and did my room while i was gone. Then the day to check out the maid banged the door down at 9 am, asking if we were leaving. We had a noon check out. It was unnecessary. Especially when the door says Do not disturb. Leave people alone until check out time. Cars pull straight in front of the room so she knew we were there.

The location and price is what and the only thing that was good. Blankets and sheets had cigarette burns in them. Towels was discolored and bathroom had a mildewy smell. Now I know why it was half priced from all the other hotels in the area.

We stayed 2 nights Fri-Sun. We was awakened early on Saturday morning to see if we wanted or needed anything and they was told no that we was ok. We got up and went to breakfast and came back and they had entered the room with our stuff in there and shut off the heat and opened the curtains. My husband went to the front desk to ask why they went in there after being told we were ok and didn’t need anything and was cussed by the guy working. Worse experience ever staying at a hotel. Will not be staying there ever again.

Awful place. While I was opening the door to my room the owners daughter was standing and watching me and talking on her cell phone the entire time. As I walked into my room she decided to follow me and tell me to go to the front office. No explanation, no reason, nothing but saying the same thing repeatedly when I asked if there was an issue. So I walk to the front desk, which I past the owner which I figured was coming to speak to me but nope he didn't say a single thing or even look my direction. So as I get to the front desk, the gentlemen working informs me that the owners said I couldn't stay there and they were refunding my stay. When I asked why, had I done something, he said they didn't give any reason or details. After chatting for a few it comes out that he thinks it was messed up what they're doing, and that it's because I'm related to someone they didnt like who has a lawsuit against them. Front desk staff was super nice and would definitely do business with them again. As for the owners. I'd give my business to anywhere else before here again. Than to beat it all, I had to contact Expedia because they never initiated my refund. They didn't even tell Expedia they had refused my stay and still had me as being there checked in. Had I. It caught it in time I'd never gotten my refund.

Most affordable, best stay in Charleston, Cross Lanes area. Very convenient location. Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment all close by. Great staff and clean accomodations

The rented Room had mold on the ceiling and the toilet felt like it is going to sink down when you seat on it. The rooms smell bad, assume it is from the mold and the “white@ towels changed their color to brown. I felt unsafe in that room. Thank Hod customer service was great and accommodating my needs.

Night clerk not friendly or helpful asked for a room away from noise rd( I have stayed they’re before) said none available. In the AM. 8 cars in lot Room 209. 2nd floor but still rd side The fan vent is falling down and if someone is under using toilet they would be hurt( metal vent ( I have pics) The hair dryer is supposed to be mounted on wall but to use the bracket and all makes it hard to use PS: 10 cars next next night

This location is ok for bed and sleep. It advertised that they have free breakfast, but they don’t have ANYTHING! One of the amenities is a swimming pool on site but it was never open for the entire season. Room cleanliness was good. Good place for the money just to lay down and sleep. Not as advertised however.

When I arrived the floor felt like it was covered in a film. I purchased disinfectant wipes and wiped the floor with them. I wish I could figure out how to post the pictures on here. What came off the floor was disgusting. The sheets and pillow cases where stained at least I hope they were stains and not just dirty. The room was not well kept the toilet seat was so loose it almost fell off. I tightened the toilet seat up. While I was there there was a guest of the motel that has a shoot out with the police and was killed. I could not even go back to the motel that night and had to stay with my sister. My nephew is a police officer in the area and he said that this motel has a reputation of drug dealings and a lot of shady activity. I should have asked him about this place before I agreed to the reservation. This motel should be excluded from your website.

The hourly employees were very helpful and courteous. Management however was probably the rudest individual I have ever encountered for someone in the service industry.

Upon first pulling into the hotel, it appeared dark and eerie like it was abandoned. We got out of our car to start walking to the desk and must have approached at least 15 crakcheads on the way to the door. We checked in and everything was great. Once we got to our rooms, the stench of cigarette smoke was unbearable, given it was a smoking room we weren’t upset but there were ashes everywhere. There were ashes in our chair, on our bed, in our toilet and shower. The room was absolutely disgusting, it had dirty sheets in it so we had to use our own bedding from the car.

Pool Is Not Open
I was looking forward to swimming on a hot day and the pool was closed. While the room was comfortable, I was not happy with the breakfast, basically coffee and a cold cinnamon roll.

Very dirty!
Arriving late in the day after traveling all day the place was a mess. People sitting outside working on their 2nd 6 pack of beer. Pulled back the blankets on both beds and the sheets were dirty and had stuff in the bed. This was the second room. The first had a nasty smell. Asked for a refund. The front desk clerk wasn’t able to do it. Have to wait till morning. We left and found another room somewhere else.
