Although this property is beautiful (We loved the beach, waterpark, & pools) - I had to give the property a lower rating because administratively - it is a NIGHTMARE. If you are going to stay here, I highly suggest that you ONLY USE THE WRISTBANDS FOR ROOM ACCESS. DO NOT USE THE WRISTBANDS TO PAY FOR ANYTHING ON THE PROPERTY. Do not give your room number at any restaurant or retail location. It seemed that the staff have been trained to default to room charge. Be adamant that you are NOT charging to your room, review/SAVE EVERY RECEIPT, check your bill closely before leaving. Make sure your credit card alerts are on so that you are notified if unapproved charging occurs. All of this comes as a result of: 1) Being told that we were not checked into the hotel one hour after checking in (we had already been in the room). 2) Another guest was able to charge over $500 to our account & after three visits to the front desk - they still did not fix it. We now have to work with credit card issuer to resolve. 3) One of the staff members confirmed that when they personally stay at the property, they do not use the wristband because fees are inflated and it is difficult to resolve any issues. Also, I saw someone else comment about the hold on your credit card for incidentals - they do this and it is typical for hotels, however - when you buy anything at the hotel with the wristband, they do not take it out of the hold and instead add a separate charge to your credit card.

so the property was nice. the restaurant’s food was not good at all. the buffet food was good but the ladies had a nasty attitude and not welcoming. some of the staff were nice and some were very rude. the toilet barely flushed and the light in the room at night was not good. however i liked the place it was really nice and peaceful.

The property was directly located by the beach and was a fabulous choice for our stay. The restaurant within the hotel were expensive and the service was very slow. They all had waiting lists to get into so the restaurants were not convenient regardless of the price. We sat in a cocktail lounge for 30 minutes and no one approached our table. I finally had to ask for help to send someone to our table. But the food was very good along with the drinks, just the service was very slow.

The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas is a beautiful place. There are so many things to do within the resort that you don't need to leave resort to have fun. The dining options are great. My dad and I spent a lot of time lounging around the pool area and eating at the Shake Shack, which by the way the food and service was really good. I will return again to the Atlantis in the future. It was such a fun place to be at.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Stayed in the two bedroom coral suite at the reef. Everything was fantastic except for when departing for our excursion and being stripped of our towels. Maybe come up with a system to track towels leaving the property or at least give some forewarning. I was tempted to leave a negative review but the entirety of the stay made up for this one inconvenience.

Very good property for vacation but expensive instead.
