I cannot rave enough about this hotel. The staff is absolutely incredible. They are so attentive and strive to make sure your stay is the best. You are graded with a welcome drink and you get a delicious breakfast every morning. It’s not the typical continental breakfast. You’re served with delicious fresh fruit, bread with fresh jam, eggs, major way along with traditional Colombian empanadas. Not only is the staff incredible but the location is as well. I felt completely safe staying here and will only stay here when I return back to Cartagena.

The property is located in a prime place, easy to walk to all touristics areas, the staff is great. However, facilities are not the best, the pool area is not atractive to visit, the finishes in the rooms are a little behind expectations ( inside closets). But the bed is super comfortable.

Hi María,Thank you staying with us and for your feedback!Regarding your comments on the facilities we are a bit surprised, as we have the following facilities, that very few boutique hotels in the Old City have:1) The 2 pools are covered 24k gold leaf, which are unique in Colombia. No other pools are like this.2) The dining room area has 2 onyx marble bars that light up in the evening and are a feast for the eyes.3) We fully revamped the floors, adding white marble tiles which is also rare here.For a small boutique hotel, these amenities are high level compared to the other properties in the Old City.Regards,

Wonderful staff !!! Great location. Hotel is cute. Breakfast is a cooked breakfast but very basic. Room was cleaned but could use better maintenance. Easy to Walk around, Starbucks is nearby for people like me that drink ice tea

Thank you so much to the staff for treating this Morena like a princess every single person on the staff plays a part. I felt extremely safe and the location was the best you can literally get to some of the best restaurants and attractions within 5 mins walking! Our room was cleaned everyday and my food heated every night at 3 am after a late night morning I will miss this place but I will be back.

Small boutique hotel in the old city. I stayed in a standard room on the first floor which had a awkward layout and only limited natural sunlight which came from the shared patio area. I would not recommend that room but the hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff was excellent

Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Cartagena walled city. The service is amazing, and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and always try to help with any tours, etc. I strongly recommend this hotel.

From the moment I stepped into Leones De Alba Hotel Boutique, I was immersed in an experience unlike any other. Juan Pablo greeted me with an incredible warmth and professionalism, ensuring that my check-in was seamless and making me feel truly welcome. Throughout my stay, the exemplary service was consistent, with Alejandro, Beyker, and Edwar going above and beyond to cater to my every need. The hotel itself is a marvel beautifully maintained with a unique antique aesthetic that transports you back in time, yet with all the modern luxuries. The meticulous cleanliness of the premises is commendable, with every corner radiating a pristine sheen. My room was the epitome of elegance and sophistication. The small details, from the plush linens to the intricately designed decor, exuded luxury and made my stay unforgettable. This hotel is centrally located in the heart of the wall city. You can walk most places especially to the castle. Food is literally on every block, streets are extremely clean, a lot of history around the area. The hotel is very secure A special mention must be made of the hotel's accommodation on a late checkout at 6pm due to the delay flight. This gesture added immense comfort to my last day, allowing me to relax without the usual rush. I appreciated all the little things , and the unwavering commitment of the staff that truly set this place apart. The pictures that are provided by the hotel are exactly how the property looks. Thanks for the honesty.

Beautiful intimate hotel, very quiet. The staffs are super nice and helpful. Juan one of the receptionist went above and beyond for us. He makes reservations for our dinners and party bus. Bailey the server was awesome and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Ideal location, in walking distance of everything. Will definitely recommend

Beautiful and quiet little hidden boutique hotel in Cartagena that is central but also away from the evening mayhem so it is not crazy loud in the evenings. Great and friendly staff and the morning breakfast was exceptional!

Historic Hotel in a great location
What I liked the most about Leones de Alba Hotel was the balcony overlooking a beautiful corner in the old town. Relaxing to sit and overlook the happy crowds passing by. The breakfast room/ meeting room is a great place to relax also with access to the balcony. Great location also being 5 minutes walk for the amazing sunsets over the ocean. The roof top pool is warm with great views of the entire city.
