Worth the visit
I had a great stay. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds are a little uncomfortable and if you bring in a guest from outside there is a small fee. Overall I am very pleased with this hotel and i would definitely stay here again.

I just recently stayed here for 7 nights. I have to say, the rooms are incredibly clean. They have everything that you need: towels (changed daily), bed, desk, functional bathroom, and a working safe for your valuable items. This hotel also has good wifi and no shortage of hot water (which is hard to come by).The property is located in Getsemani so you can walk pretty much anywhere with endless restaurant choices. However, the bed was hard as a rock. So hard, in fact, my hips and back were sore for the whole week and it interrupted my sleep. The hotel is very loud and with big gaps in the trim around the doors, the sound comes right into your room. Breakfast was ok-limited choices (which I totally understand) the coffee was very good, but the glass of juice given to me had ants crawling around the rim of it.

Eaten alive by mosquitoes
The rooms smelled of insecticide Rooms not sealed so mosquitoes bite all night One of my bites got infected Poor water pressure in shower Ants crawling in the kitchen can’t be healthy I’d like to be reimbursed for antibiotic

Kitchen on the first floor - The worst!!!
The room was spacious for three people, but the restroom is very tiny. The hotel, specially, the rooms need improvements. It is located in Getsemani, near by a very stormy, and nosy street where people stroll along the whole day. Let me recommend do not, by no means, allow you to assign you rooms on the first floor, the kitchen is right in the middle of the property and the absurd noise wakes you up starting around 5:00 AM.

I had an amazing stay at this cute boutique hotel! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. My Spanish is not great but I made an effort to speak with them and they were so patient when I would struggle to say things. I got there a bit earlier than check in time and they let me have access to my room. They also provided me with a map and points of interest. I usually travel solo so this was very helpful. The room itself was clean. The bed was comfortable enough for me and I appreciated the closet and ac. The shower pressure was okay I had hot water two days out of my stay. (Hot water isn’t an issue for me though) My room was cleaned daily and towels changed every two days. I didn’t have any issues with loud noise and the staff would look out for me when I went out late. I have nothing but positive things to say about Casa de la Trinidad and highly recommended this hotel. I will definitely be back!

Amazing and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely (eggs, ham, and toast with jam). Room was nice. The restaurant right next door is amazing. A full meal for 7mil pesos - very cheap and delicious, authentically local meal. Beds were unbelievably firm. Water pressure in the shower was very low. Still quite happy with the place!

I liked the proximity to the old city. However, this property is more of a hostel than hotel. Sleep was disturbed several consecutive nights at 2 to 4 am and once at midnight, by other noisy guests (intoxicated?) returning to their rooms. Excellent breakfast provided by staff, although the eating area is small.

It is a great little motel in walking distance to most of the Historic City area. Friendly and safe area with many restaurants and shops near by. They were very friendly and helpful where they can. Great breakfast. Definitely would like to stay again and recommend staying there. If you don't like a firm or hard bed, or you want an ocean view or want to walk to beach, you might be a little disappointed in that part. I like Hotel Casa de la Trinidad much better than big hotels. It might not the easiest to see or find the first time coming but worth looking for.

It’s a basic room , clean , breakfast was good , friendly staff , in a good area outside downtown , the only issue I had was not always had hot water for the shower and it would shut off during a shower and would take a few minutes before it would start flowing again ,, I would stay there again though

Acceptable as a budget TWO-STAR hotel. The photograph displayed on this page does not accurately represent the room I had: mine was smaller, older-looking, and with less furnishings. No window in my room. The hotel location is excellent. The front desk staff, and those that made breakfast each morning were great. The breakfast was good. The hotel smells old and musty. On arrival, my room smelled strongly of cleaning product. My biggest issue was with the noise from other guests; the people in the room next to mine were up late, talking and with the TV on, and even with earplugs, this kept me awake for hours.

This lovely small hotel, just 11 rooms, was a great find. It is a short walk to the Center of the old town, and is much more reasonable that the hotels in that area. The staff were extremely helpful.

This is an hosted pretending to be an hotel. Rooms are barely essential. No refrigerator, not even a chair. Mattress is horrible. You cannot lay down, let alone relaxing. Truly uncomfortable

Very nice and friendly staff. Our room was very nice and clean, and the air conditioning worked great. The outdoor eating area was beautiful and the personalized breakfast was great. The location couldn't be better - it's within walking distance of everything you'd want to see (including the castle and old shoes - but it's a bit further than some people would like to walk)

Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing free breakfast. The room was nice, the only downside is there wasn't hot water which made showering uncomfortable. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the walled city.

Lovely, comfy, hidden little gem of a hotel
This was a WONDERFUL hotel! It's a small place with not a lot of rooms. They lock the doors up at night so you feel safe. The rooms are every large with AMAZING air conditioners. The beds are a little hard but you sleep like a rock because of the temp of the room. Breakfast is all made to order. It was super flavorful! The service was the place was also top notice. Sweet sweet ladies. This hotel is a little hard to find (it is listed wrong on google maps) but it is a gem in getsmeti!

Highly recommended!
Would definitely recommend this hotel! Great location inside the walled city in the Getsemani neighborhood. Very easy to walk to all places in the old town (~15 min walk to go across town). Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was nicely renovated. But above all, the staff was extremely helpful, especially Angel, who gave us a thorough intro to the neighborhood . They were patient in answering our questions and helping to book tours to Volcan El Totumo and Playa Blanca. The location is 0.5 blocks from the main road and 1 block from nightlife (Club Havana), close but just removed enough to be quiet. However, you will hear church music through the walls if you're there on Sun morning. Good breakfast of toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, and coffee/tea/juice. Multiple shops nearby to buy water, snacks, etc.

No hot water + bad internet bad stay
NO HOT WATER: I stayed here for 2 days and there was no hot water in the shower the entire time I was here. Apparently the water heater broke, and I am sympathetic to the fact that we are in Colombia, but I moved my reservation to this hotel specifically because I was told everything worked. Also, this hotel provided no shampoo in the shower. BAD INTERNET: I need reliable Internet for my job when traveling. Not only was the Internet slow here, but it continually dropped out. On the second night, it just went completely out for hours. Luckily I have a local SIM so was able to use that. WRONG ROOM: I booked a double room and got 2 twins on arrival. Their solution was to push the beds together. Not a huge deal, but that's not what I reserved, and not what was pictured. NOISY: While this is on a quiet street, that doesn't help much when the hotel is tiny and not very insulated. I could hear everything going on in the hotel in the morning when everyone goes for breakfast. That is the middle of my night, so I slept terrible the first night. This is not the hotel I paid for. Would have been much happier elsewhere. Positives are a great working A/C unit and a comfortable bed. And a friendly staff.
