"This is the first review where I’ve given an excellent rating for every category. We really having a peaceful day then going on a walk for a couple hours hours the next day. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area."

"Really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings! I was just stopping for 1 night on my way north, but wished I could stay longer. The building is historical and the interior vibe is cozy and quaint. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable, the bathwater was hot, and breakfast was excellent. There is a cold breakfast included in the room fee, but I recommend paying the extra £7 for a hot breakfast as you won’t be disappointed! Overall great experience and incredible value for the price."
