Comfortable
Great location and just a few steps to the beach. The pool is a plus also. The unit is comfortable and the people are friendly. The parking access is easy too.

Perfect Carpinteria location
Loved our stay, everything was clean, and tons of supplies in the apartment. The apartment complex has the friendliest neighbors too! A block walk to the beach. There is no A/C so it gets a little stuffy in the unit. But just open the windows and a great breeze comes thru. Super easy check-in and the complex is very safe. Will definitely stay here again.

What an awesome place!
My 3 kiddos and I had such a great vacation! The chairs, bogeyboards, and umbrellas were very much appreciated for our long days at the beach. We would walk the very short distance to the beach for the day, then walk to dinner at one of the restaurants nearby. It was a wonderful reset before school starts!

Lovely stay right by the beach
Property as advertised. Nice complex, quiet, so close to the sand, easy parking, pool fairly warm. Unit slept 2 adults in the bed and a kid in each pull out. Would happily stay again.

Location is perfect and even though we didn’t use all of the beach gear the Condo definitely had you covered…..boogie boards, beach chairs…..real quiet neighborhood and really friendly……..

We had a great time. Nice for a beach get away. Only complaint is that you listed pool, but pool was way too cold for our kids to swim in. We never saw anyone in the community use the pool in the week we were there.

Overall nice but disappointed with broken window shades
My daughter and I stayed here and it was unsettling knowing anyone walking by could see us- especially at night when lights were on. The first night we arrived there were 4 people standing right outside the window talking for what seemed like hours. I had to turn off the living room and kitchen lights and retrieve to the bedroom with my daughter, where there is no TV, until they left. The owner, a very nice man, said the shades were supposed to have been fixed so he was aware of the problem but didn't ensure it was resolved before our arrival. He said we could jimmy the shades but there wasn't anything to jimmy- one window literally had no covering and the other one had about 1 foot of missing shade on the top. I found some sheets in the closets that I used to somewhat cover the windows but it was impossible to cover the entire area. I was very disturbed about this that we ended up leaving one day early. The location is great and it is a quaint little town but for two females traveling alone it just wasn't a pleasant experience.

Spring break
Perfect location within walking distance of the beach, you can hear the ocean with the windows opened, and felt very safe the whole time. Pull out mattresses were a bit uncomfortable but still fit 4 people easily. Clean and accommodating.

Paradise at La Cabana
Our condo was lovely with all the amenities. The kitchen was well equipped with a wonderful open area and living room. Extremely comfortable, clean, and cozy. You can hear the ocean at night with your bedroom window open - so delightful and relaxing. The beach is a few steps away. Watched the sunsets each evening. Enjoyed walks on the beach. Great restaurants and shopping just a short walk away. Everything is convenient. People in the condo complex are friendly. Robert the host is wonderful and friendly. He is welcoming and there to meet any of your needs. Staying at La Cabana was like walking into paradise for 2.5 months. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Little Spot
My two children and I have never been to this area and were looking for a new place to explore. This spot was perfect for the three of us. Walking distance from the beach, not very far from Santa Barbara and a cute little downtown area. The girls are already asking if they can come back this summer!

Beautifully appointed, great location
We were very comfortable, and Robert/host was responsive when we had questions. The unit is just perfect for relaxing, and it's a short walk to a gorgeous beach. We recommend it, and we'd stay there again, for sure.

Not the best location.
The unit is a nice layout, bed comfortable. Lacking in kitchen stuff, wine glasses, drink glasses and cooking pans. Also towels and bath rugs were missing. Unit was hot in living room, needs a fan. Property manager said all those missing things would be there for the next guests! complex is in a great location, but the unit opens up to the common Barbeque area, which had large groups of people day and evening. Got very noisy!

Solo Month Long Getaway-Kickstart to Healthy Living
In an effort to cleanse mind, body and soul, I booked a 30 day solo beach vacation. This unit was the PERFECT choice in every way! Location is key when planning the perfect getaway and La Cabana delivered. The beach to the right and the main strip with stores, cafes, bars to the left… everything in walking distance. The unit itself I was comfy, cozy and exactly what I needed. Definitely will be back to Carpinteria and to La Cabana

Perfect location, but with dirty bedding
Cute little apartment near the beach. The sheets were stained with blood and body fluids. I told the property manager and he had the cleaning service come out while we were out. I came back to changed sheets, but not pillow cases or blankets. There was white body fluids still on pillow case. Not a good experience. There's nothing worse than being on vacation and having to sleep in a dirty bed.

The property was clean and centrally located. The pool for the Grand kids was perfect! Although a bit dated, it had everything we needed for our stay and more. There were books to read and pool toys to play with. The grill was great. Walking distance to the beach and shops.

Great little place to get away to enjoy the beach. Less than 1 block to put your feet in the sand! Quite complex, very relaxing. Open floor plan, plenty of beach items, linens and pillows. Ceiling fans and big windows to enjoy the landscape.

Great location, excellent property manager!
Lovely apartment and extremely close to the beach. Communication with the property manager was excellent and he was responsive to our needs. As of June of 2020, there are 3 beach chairs, 1 umbrella, 2 boogie boards and some sand toys in the unit.

Great Manager, nice apartment
The property is rented out by an agency. The manger, Robert, is available at all times by phone. He showed that he cared about making our stay comfortable. This well-equipped apartment is one block from beautiful Carpinteria Beach, on the first floor a quiet 2-story complex.

Lovely apartment for short stay
loved all aspects of the apartment.. Rorbert was very helpful (via telephone) with the move-in.. only had minor difficulty learning to use the TV remote (Cox system) but all went very well and was delighted to be able to have a 3 nite stay as most condos require a full week stay during summer .. liked the kitchen and the artwork and furnishings.. .. great place !!

We enjoyed 8 nights at La Cabana in April. The space was well maintained and clean. Everything we needed during the trip was there. So great to have beach chairs, umbrellas and even a few beach toys too! Easy access to Carpinteria and the beach- you really can't beat the location. Unit was spacious and airy- the courtyard out front was great too! Robert was great to work with- prompt, great customer service, and easy to get a hold of. We were very happy with our stay!

Too dark can’t open shades
It was clean but you need shutters so you can open them to get light in without pulling open an entire shade so everyone can see in. Your management Robert and I think her name was Julie were fabulous!!!

The guest had contacted us immediately upon arrival and while many things were discussed, the blinds were not a topic of that discussion. The unit does have blinds that both go up and down offering a variety of options for privacy. While this has been the first time it has been brought to our attention, we have passed on the feedback to our owner and will continue to strive to make all guests happy and heard.

Very nice condo. Perfect location. Nicely stocked with basic food items and games. The decor is a bit dated but functional. The complex has a nice pool.
