"I was expecting something special when I booked this stay. It was OK… Certainly not special. The room was OK, not as nice as the price point would suggest as the suite’s furniture was shabby and worn. I have had better bedding at roadside motels at less than 1/5 the cost than the bedding here. It felt like sleeping on a piece of plastic and smelled like cheap deodorant. The spa was great, food was good, and staff was great. Early morning walks allowed for some great birding! Our “villa” had a washer and dryer! Our villa also felt like we were trapped in a cave, complete with the smell of mild mold. Additionally, I expected to see original art, not stuff hanging off walls that looked like it was purchased at a discount used furniture store. The carpet, especially the outdoor carpet, needs replaced. There are much better values out there, not sure I want to return."
