Hotel and staff great, near to shops pins and restaurants..only one thing which I found annoying was there were no sockets by any mirrors so when it came to doing your hair it was a bit hit and miss..would recommend your hotel

GREAT HOTEL FOR CITY CENTRE EXPERIENCE

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Pros: Rooms
Cons: Bar Prices!
Great modern hotel, beautiful rooms and if you get a high one then you get a fantastic view of the City. Breakfast was fine, standard hotel buffet. The hotel is immaculate.. there is one thing that lets it down and that is their bar prices.....£11.30 for a large Pinot Grigo is stupid...all it made me do was drink elsewhere rather than if it had been reasonable I would have stayed more in the hotel bar.

Overnight city stay

Posted 15-Apr-2015
Came here for one nights stay to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday in a venue in city centre. This hotel is very central. Great customer service. After saying what my reason was for staying here the lady immediately said they could arrange for a surprise to be put in our room to acknowledge his birthday. We had a lovely platter generously decorated with fruit and small fresh cakes. easy check in and check out. Excellent breakfast. Very good city hotel.

Excellent night stay, great room on 10th floor, really quite. Takes 30 seconds to walk to John Lewis and 30 more to nearest pubs and restaurants. Fabulous !!

Nice hotel close to Cardiff trendy bar

Posted 13-Apr-2015
Cons: New carpet and bed covers if being picky.
Location: 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants
Had a wonderful time staying at the Radisson, location could not be better for all the bars and restaurants. Room starting to look a bit dated but still clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff were lovely. Would definitely return .

Cons: parking charges

We went for a mini weekend break, really nice hotel near shopping centre and quite a few restaurants. Rooms really nice and staff really helpful. only gripe the cost to park at the hotel was an additional £18 to the bill!!

We stayed for a shopping trip. The hotel is right opposite the main shopping area and close to good restaurants.

near town centre and 20 mins. walk to Cardif Bay

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: Clean, tidy and handy for town centre
Cons: Room could be cleaned between 10 and noon.
Location: Cardiff town centre is great. Cardiff Castle is worth visiting, so is Cardiff Bay.
All good but at 2:30 pm we had to tell them to clean our room.

Back to my roots

Posted 24-Mar-2015
Pros: Location
We were returning to the city that I was born and bred in after nearly 40 years away. I had asked for a high room with a view over the city in order to see how much the city centre had changed in this time. I was told that my room looked over towards the millennium stadium. How disappointed to find that it looked out in the complete opposite direction looking at a block of flats and a building site. After a six hour drive I was too tired to do anything about it. Also, the toilet flush button was stuck when we arrived. It eventually released itself only for the button to shoot out and down into the toilet itself. This was reported to reception and the repair carried out.
