"Beautiful view if ocean from oyr bedroom..walking distance to ocean with a restaurant snack bar and pizza place. Only wish there was a grocery store nearby walking distance. You need a car to get to the store. Bed was comfy but pillows stuffed with pieces of sponge which made them lumpy and a but uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that Staff was amazing hotel very clean!!! Great stay overall 🤗"

"Hotel stay was ok, very clean but beware there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage you’ll kill yourself getting it up the stairs. Also, the hotel is in a very very busy and noisy area of town, great view to the harbour but mind your feet if you’re crossing the street."

"This is a wonderful property that would be a great stay for anyone. Our room was spacious, clean, and designed and decorated with flair. The grounds are extensive and outstandingly landscaped. Francisco, the owner, is justly proud of his creation, and is very hospitable and dedicated to making your stay memorable. The breakfast spread is very generous. Very good value for the money. "House is in quiet place, full of nature. I received a really big house, fine in the appearance, very clean and completely fournished. Comfort was at top and all was working perfectly. Also garden an swimming pool were very good. Host was really polite and full of attention, providing an appetizing breakfast. If obly also some vegetables had been added, no possibility of improvement woulf have left! Perhaps a car to reach is needed, but it is strongly recommended for a comfortably full immersion...

"We were only on Faial for three days but this house and our host made us wish we had booked a full week. The location is removed from the traffic of town, but close enough to walk into town numerous times per day (if you are up to a modest hill climb). A clean house with a great view of the harbour. Our host Marco was very accommodating as were the owners of the property. We highly recommend this house on Faial."
