For the amount of money they charge nightly, we were expecting a much nicer place. It wasn't dirty, however I recall staying here as a child and I'm pretty sure everything is exactly the same.

Our mini vacation

Posted 05-Jun-2015
Pros: It's location and everything it had to offer.
Cons: The mattress and box spring in the bedroom.
Location: Far enough away from "downtown" and all the hub bub but not too far that it would keep us from enjoying the stores and eateries there.
I would give this hotel a 4 star rating for sure. The hotel staff that we dealt with were friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is huge with many many amenities and things to do. We'd love to come back sometime more towards the end of June when the season is in full swing and the weather is better. The room we had was clean and the kitchen was stocked with what would be needed for cooking and eating etc. Dishes, glasses, mugs, pots and pans etc.... The only thing we weren't real thrilled with was the bed in the private bedroom. We didn't need to use the pull out sleepers so I can't speak about them. The sofas themselves were very comfortable. All in all, a very nice place to stay and not to far from the main area of Provincetown.

Beach side hotel close to P-town

Posted 02-Jun-2015
Second time staying at this hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet, kitchenette was a nice bonus. Only 5 minutes away by car from center of p-town. Beach was clean but you can only swim during high tide.

Hotel was nice, staff was not nice.

Posted 11-May-2015
Pros: comfortable and spacious rooms
Cons: rude staff, charged double for our room, did not take the trash out of our room prior to arrival
Location: close proximity to the beach, 2 mile drive to town- $7 cab ride per person each way to get in and out of town
We arrived to the hotel after running the Ragnar relay race this weekend. We had booked a 6 person room for 4 people. Last minute, 3 of our friends asked if they could stay with us; instead of sneaking people into the room we politely asked the staff if we could add 3 people on, fully expecting to pay the extra costs. The woman assisting us was extremely rude and promptly told us this would not be allowed. We asked the woman if they would be able to come hang out in our room before driving back to Boston that night and she said "Don't make me come check that they are spending the night." So after trying to be honest with the hotel and pay for the additional guests, we got scolded. Our friends did not stay out of respect to the hotel staff. The next morning upon check out, we had to request a receipt from the hotel for our stay. I have never been to a hotel where this has not automatically been provided. Upon receiving a copy, we noticed that we had been charged for 2 rooms instead of 1. At this point, the staff on duty was unable to refund the transaction and forced us to talk to the manager today to get the money refunded. Overall, the room was nice and we did have a comfortable stay, but the staff was so rude that we are unlikely to stay here next year.

Old A/C ruined our stay

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Pros: Not my cup of tea
Cons: New decor, new A/C...
Location: Location great next to beach
Room was small with a pull down bed. Decor old, but had certain 70's charm. Non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Heater/air con was so loud that we could not sleep. We had to cut our 3 night stay short and return home after one sleepless night.

Smoking in hotel awfully crappie locks on doors

Posted 20-Apr-2015
This hotel is I a great spot and other. It's way to being good if owners put more money and work into it. The worst locks I have ever seen on the room doors no clasp or chains can be open with a shove. Paint still smells in room , bathroom plumbing not complete and exhaust fan disgusting. not ready to use. Room set up smart and textured covering of wall as well but absolutely not worth more than $65 a night. We were also rushed out at 10 am check out for benefit of cleaning crew. Just Sucked!
