Ok, but nice and calm

Posted 20-Jun-2014
Pros: The cleaness of the room
Cons: The front of the hotel. It looked sad. Maybe change the colour or make it interesting.
When we arrived to the front of the hotel we looked at each other and thought... hmm.. this looks a little dodgy. Once we came in we were served by a lady who didn't seem very please to be there. I dont know if it was because she had been all day (note: we arrived at 5.30pm) there or what. When we got to our room, it was quite nice actually. It was clean and big enough for both of us. We did not have any problems, the area was quiet and calm, and it was close to the places we wanted to go.

Comfortable in Canberra

Situated in a suburban neighborhood, it was quiet if not close to dining or downtown.

Comfortable, quiet, conveniently located.

Comfortable room in a quiet part of Canberra, close to the city. The continental breakfast was pretty good with a number of fresh options. The hot breakfast options, which you had to pay an extra $8 each for, were not that great tho, better quality elsewhere.

Close to Canberra CBD

Posted 22-Apr-2014
Pros: Room was lovely, clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location: Located close to CBD and other tourist sites.
Room was clean and roomy with 1 queen sized bed and 2 single beds. Ideal for a family of 4. Love the heated bathroom floors esp on those cold autumn/winter nights. Staff were nice and friendly. Will definitely stay there agin

Nice motel in quiet area of Canberra.

Posted 21-Apr-2014
Pros: Free parking and wifi. Breakfast choice was good with hot items prepared by staff as requested.
Cons: Needs better layout for bathroom. Better heating during cold nights.
Location: Parliament House, Capital Hill, National Gallery of Australia are a must-see even if you have just half a day free.
Stayed one night with family as stopover when driving from Sydney to Melbourne. Bathroom is tiny. It gets quiet cold at night in autumn so expect to use double blankets. Heating from aircon unit was pointless.

Close to War Memorial, comfortable economical .

Posted 16-Apr-2014
Pros: Comfortable beds, cleanliness, accessibility to major Canberra attractions and no traffic.
Cons: Undercover parking would be good.
Location: War Memorial, Dickson Shops, main Northbourne road to major sites. Easy access to Parliamenary circuit.
Motel is in a suburban area, very close to the War Memorial and just off the main Northbourne route into Canberra. All tourist attactions are easily accessed from here. Hotel was a comfortable economy motel great for a family, with good carparking. The Dickson shopping precinct with a wide range of restaurants, supermarkets and takeaways is within 5 minutes drive. It's a Motel not a swank Hotel but spotlessly clean, beds are amazingly comfortable and everything you need is there for a weekend visit tio Canberra.

Motel is in a lovely quiet location but close to all the major attractions. Close( 1.6 Kms) to the Dickson Shops where there is a wide variety of good quality eating places.
