"Hi place is clean however they need to have room fragrance our room had cigarette fume, obviously our sense of cigarette smell is very active because we don't smoke, smoked person was in the room not smoking in there. Kettle tray only has 1glass and 1 cracked and chipped mug, yet is 2people sharing NO beverage sachets so what's the point of having the Kettle. New linen is needed so as the towels. No floor matts bedroom and bathroom yet it's tiles. They can make use of the fabric softener , unless otherwise our linen stayed a while before use. Smelt like mould like being stored in a damp area. Security Staff good they brought us 2nd mug "

"I regret booking this place, it’s very dull and needs a lot of maintenance, the wardrobe was outside our room, how in earth do you expect people to keep their clothes in the wardrobe placed on a passage where everyone has access on? There was no dustbin in our room and the toilet, I was not even told where the kitchen was, I booked for 2 people, but there was one glass, one towel for the entire 2days. We didn’t have the remote for the gate, so everytime we had to go out we had to phone because we didn’t even know where the reception is, if there is. I felt like I was in those horror haunted houses. Bad place, poor service"

"I booked a room for my daughter to spend with her baby on her first birthday. I was away in the UK and asked the lodge if they would be able to put roses and champagne etc. in the room. And leave a birthday message from me. Lisa provided it all and made it so special for them. And had balloons and cupcakes with candles at the breakfast table. I’m so thankful to her! She went above and beyond what I expected. My daughter said it was the perfect setting to spend her daughter’s first birthday. And although they were only there for 2 nights, she felt so rejuvenated. And the meals were excellent! And the staff were so welcoming. Thank you Hilton Bush Lodge! "

"It seemed the property was not ready for guests. The rooms and shelves were not very clean. The sink leaked and the bath drainage took a long time to drain. The stoves for cooking did not have knobs for turning it on. You could hardly see with the light in the bathroom when we arrived. The sofa was torn and squeaked. Linen & towels did not look fresh & clean (very old)."
