I was traveling with my pet and booked a room the afternoon of the night of my stay because I wasn’t sure of my progress. After booking on Expedia, I called the property to tell them I’d be a late check in and I have a pet. Clerk said he didn’t have any rooms available on first floor and I said that’s fine because I booked late. When I got there to check in, they had found a first floor room, but it was a handicap room and I said that was fine. I went in the room and main area looked fine, except had an open area under the bed my pup kept looking at, so I looked under and there was a dusty plastic bottle under the bed. It had been cleaned, but bottle left and a dusty tile was flipped up underneath. Then I went into the bathroom and had mold/mildew around outside tub and ceiling and wall was torn up where they had appeared to have fixed a leak. It was late, around 9:30, so I didn’t ask to change rooms. Turned heater on and fan was loud. Unfortunately, fan and heat were on the same switch. I woke up with a stopped up head the next morning. I stayed at 4 different budget motels along my trip to visit family. Unfortunately, this was the worst. I won’t be staying at another Red Roof due to the room condition, but I do appreciate the clerk’s intentions to accommodate my needs.
