“Clean, contemporary comfort”

After a nine-day biking excursion down the length of Sardinia, I really appreciated all of the creature comforts available at T Hotel Cagliari. The rooms are bright and clean, the bathrooms are enormous and the staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English. The only drawback — it's about a 30-minute walk (or an 8 Euro cab ride) to downtown Cagliari. That said, I would gladly stay here again.

“This is T-Hotel to stay in”

Great modern hotel with excellent service, decor and facilities (great bar and spa). A little out of town but near the market and music park and with good bus services at €3 for an all day ticket / less than €10 for a taxi all the way to the Marina. Lovely bar and good mix of pleasant guests - recommended (top rated for Cagliari on Trip Advisor).

“Stylish hotel in Caligari”

T Hotel is a large, modern, stylish hotel with many attractive features including an outstanding spa. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of delicious hot and cold choices. Excellent staff. Huge bathroom with beautiful floor to ceiling tiles on two walls; high thread quality linens on king-sized bed. Perfect for a traveler with a car, for there's a large hotel parking lot across the street from the hotel. Not so perfect a location for someone without a car, but there's a city bus stop about three blocks from the hotel.

Area recommendations
Old Town includes many fascinating historical sites. Harbor area is also interesting.

“Very Impressed”

Comfortable Hotel. Staff very approachable and helpful. Most spoke very good English which helped with my broken Italian. One way system in Cagliari when driving can be difficult but seemed to find the Hotel no matter what. Seems to be the highest building in Cagliari. Breakfast very good. Lots of choice. Would recommend this Hotel so long as you don't expect a holiday hotel with pool to sit around etc. Business orientated.

Villasimius, Costa Rei, Poetto Beach. Yenni Plaza, Via Roma, Castello
When to go
Went in July. Very hot. Best time is probably around June time.
Getting around
We used a hire car but if you are not used to driving on the right or the Italian way of driving it can be a bit hair raising.
Dining
Lovely food. Quite expensive especially with the Euro as it is.

“Excellent hotel”

Hotel was excellent, very quiet plenty of parking for hire car. Breakfast was very good starting at 7 and going on till 10.30. Not many restaurants in area and a good 25 minute walk into the town although the Hotel restaurant was good. Surprised at the amount of grafitti in Cagliari such a shame to deface the city. Had a hire car and visited some of the excellent beaches in the area. Sardinias roads were very good and driving round the island was quite straight forward. Thouroughly enjoyed Sardinia and would definately go back.

Area recommendations
The beaches around Chia were lovely and I like Villasimius.

“Quality Hotel”

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 days during the third week of January 2011. The hotel is very modern, offering the expected amenities of a 4* hotel. My room, on the 9th floor, was very comfortable; similarly the bathroom was spacious but was only equipped with a shower, lacking a bath; for me this is more than adequate. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was maintained at a high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast was of good quality and offered sufficient variety. I found the people at the desk knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. The hotel is located near the shopping area of the city and is readily accessible to many of points of interest. I recommend this hotel unreservedly.

“The best hotel in Cagliari”

This is an excellent Hotel in Cagliari. It is modern and clean. The room is not huge but spacious. We had a very large bathroom and large shower. The Hotel has high standard and the service is good. The staff are polite and service is very good. The hotel served a wonderful breakfast and room is super clearn. It is a truly 4 stars hotel. Would definitely stay there if we return to Cagliari.

Area recommendations
The old city and the archeological Museum are great places to visit.

“Disappointing for a leisure break”

Essentially a business hotel with no pool and located remotely from the centre. Breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner menu. The wait staff and bar staff were polite and charming and front desk were helpful. The picture showed a seating area by ornamental pools which we assumed wrongly to be a proper pool and there was only an indoor spa facility not suitable for swimming. The fitness room was reasonably well equipped. So food and staff fine but a rather isolated location and a curious lack of a swimming pool.

Area recommendations
The city centre is quite attractive but, as a destination, it has limited appeal. Extensive graffiti doesn't add to the experience. Doesn't sustain more than a couple of days.

“Top Hotel in awful location”

Stayed here for the night after a late landing from Gatwick. The hotel is the nicest bit of Cagliari and gave us false expectations of the surroundings. If you're there for an overnight or short stay, save the authentic Italian/Sardinian for somewhere else as Cagliari is NOT worth it. Really regretted not staying for meal and drink at the hotel.
