"The hotel is situated right next door to the abbey, and the whole island is walkable from there. The hotel has a beautiful food garden that is at least a few acres, and guests are free to walk in the organic garden, I found this very peaceful. Staff were all very helpful, picked up my bags at the ferry, which was welcome. The hotel is very comfortable with large lounge areas, which led to lots of interaction with other guests, adding to the pleasure."

Very clean and wonderful walks to the loch through woodland. Aldo great location to reach other parts of this wonderful isle of Mull. Richard and Kirsty are also are brilliant hosts. We're planning a return next year."

"Good location looking straight down to the sea loch…otters close by though we failed to see them. The local walk along the b road is lovely….looking towards The Wilderness. Mrs Campbell is a real character…gets very heated if you leave the gate open, but otherwise very chatty and amiable."
