Wonderful room, service excellent. My experience was great. Front desk was beyond helpful. Food was fantastic. We had tickets for Snow Island and because of traffic and things we didn’t there until 4:30 Saturday afternoon. Thank goodness for the hotel. They more than made up for our awful day and we were so happy. 😀

Property is nice. Rooms are clean. The tv remote was horrible Took forever to turn on, hard to change channel & the volume was loud & you could not lower it. They have fireplaces but they turn it on for you. We requested it and half hour later we were tired of waiting around so we cancelled. We were told maintenance was working it’s way to us. Not very pleased as the the pricing is not inexpensive and then nothing worked in the room.

I stayed in a villa. When I checked in, there were three desk clerks. One was busy checking someone in, the other two kept me waiting while having a conversation between themselves for what I thought was a long period of time. The one that finally checked me in was not at all friendly. Inside villa, toilet seat was not firmly attached - kept sliding around. Shower drained very slowly. I had an asthma episode due to the strong carpet cleaner. Neighbors had a party until 1:30am. I was traveling alone so did not feel comfortable reporting them - they would have known it was me. I got lost on the property after dark and with the poor lighting (no lighting on signs.) I did not feel safe.When I called to complain about the room (carpet cleaner or pet) the guy on the phone politely offered to move me the next day, but the smell had lessened and I was leaving. And I must add that in the morning (different) desk clerks were extremely helpful and friendly. I've traveled for work for over 30 years so I know things happen in a hotel and have never once complained. This was for leisure and you asked. I will not stay there again. My sincere regrets.

There were two weddings happening but the hotel itself didn’t appear to be booked. We were given a room next to wedding participants that were very noisy. Slamming the sliding glass door, etc, and generally having having a party late into the night in their room. Seems to me we could have been given a room away from the party goers. We went to the hotel casual restaurant, Bullfrogs, for dinner. We were given a table next to the kitchen door. The restaurant was almost empty. When asking for a different table, the hostess said the other area was taken and then went into to kitchen to complain about me. Glass window next to us! The other area was almost empty. I think a hotel of this rating should have better customer service.

Live Bugs in shower.
There were bugs in the shower. My wife and I had our Marriage Vow Renewal ceremony on Lake Lanier. After having a once in a lifetime event we went to our room to find live bugs in our shower. We notified the front desk when we checked out. We was extremely tired and just wanted to get a good nights sleep. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED.
