1 star is way too many stars. There was dried blood on the curtains. The room smelled like old dirt, smoke, and cat urine. The stairs are dark, steep, and shallow. I’ve stayed in some rough places. This place is worse than all of them. Just disgusting.

Convenient location
It was pleasant but with some minor issues… no elevator- hard to manage luggage up the stairs, 1 bathroom light not working- reported but not fixed The sleeping area was big and the bed was very comfortable. Few meters from metro station and within walking distance to mayor attractions

When I got to the room there was an AC unit but no way to turn it on. When I went to the front desk they informed me it was not hooked up yet. They kept saying, we did not advertise that the room had AC. In the 20 countries I have been to, not ONE room did not have AC. This is end of July, the middle of summer, the room was a sauna! They could have done a portable AC unit in each room, maybe offer a fan… NOPE, nothing! I do not look to see the my hotel room has walls, electricity, ceilings, running water, heat/AC because these are the basics that every hotel needs, and for $90 I would expect nothing less!!!! Please do yourself a favor and never stay here, and lets hope this horrible business closes.

Worst hotel on earth
It's one of the worst hotels ever and we don't recommend anybody to book there. We stayed there only 1 night it is very dirty and they didn't clean under the beds where we found a lot of dust and old face masks. The room and the toilet smells horrible and the humidity is very bad there specially in the toilet and since my boyfriend has breathing problem the humidity and the mold in the toilet caused him a serious lung problem and we are stuck with the doctors now. Please please better to sleep in the street than sleeping there.

Good place to stay
Basic but clean and quiet; friendly staff! Excellent location for public transport and food (carrefour supermarket, kebab shops). Downside: no elevator but narrow and steep staircase - not a deal breaker though.

The worst hotel, i hae stay in, cannot be more dirty as it is, even when you tell the staff that the room is super dirty, they just tell you, this what we have, we could give you a worst room, it feels very unsafe, I will never stay there again, I lost one nigth, because we couldnt stay anymore.

Very shabby hotel, and the price reflects it. Room was small and needed to be updated. Most of the furniture was worn to the point where it was falling apart. My room's bathroom apparently had a hole in it so when I had a shower it would leak into the room below. I was woken up two nights in a row by hotel staff to tell me about the problem, but they didn't actually do anything to solve it. I

This place was horrible! The window was broken, and when I tried to close it I found blood stains on the curtains. The bedding was stained with cigarette burns in them. And at night, I found rats in my room! Customer service was non-existent. The man at the front desk laughed when I told him. And after going to my room, finding the rat, then killing it, he tried to lie to me and say there was nothing. I would never recommend anyone stay here. You might as well sleep on the street.

AVOID - Not sure why this app can work with them
PLEASE AVOID! This is the worst hotel I have ever been, the main entrance is extremely narrow, actually the stairs are so close one each other. We asked for a room change and both were horrible, dirty, old, a totally mess. Im not sure why HOTELS.com can advertise this disgusting hotel. Totally dissatisfied with the hotel and the app. The breakfast was not even available. We want our refund. ¡POR FAVOR EVITE! Este es el peor hotel en el que he estado, la entrada principal es extremadamente estrecha, de hecho, las escaleras están muy cerca una de la otra. In fairness, the location was pretty convenient. That said, I’d probably say this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Every surface in my room was stained, be it the bedsheets, curtains or walls. The room also smelled absolutely horrific and the toilet barely flushed. There were also bare wires on the floor which seemed a little dangerous. Probably best to avoid this place

Good value
This hotel has some clear advantages, mainly the price, the internet reliability and the location. I often have to make quick short trips to Brussels and this is always in consideration because the airbnbs in this area (rogier) are way more expensive. There are some downsides; it's located on a busy street so if you get a room facing the street you'll hear sirens, car horns and general traffic noises, this doesn't bother me. Another downside is that some rooms really really smell like cigarettes depite being cleaned. So if you are sensitive to that smell then weigh your options. The last disadvantage is that its an older building, the rooms have noticeable wear and tear. Overall however it an affordable hotel that is really close to everything you need.

Only stayed one night in Brussels. Budget friendly hotel. Good location! A little run down compared to the photos, cleanliness could have been improved. Also asked for more city tax compared to what hotels.com said we were supposed to pay. Also had to leave the key everytime we left the building which was strange. Would only recommend to those on a budget.

One of the dirtiest hotel i’ve ever seen. The bed sheets have dirty stamps all over it. The floor was so sticky, the bathroom cover sheet was never cleaned in years and plus the bathroom door don’t close. The room isn’t like the pictures not at all. There’s no mirror in the room and a lot of noises from the high road.

VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE ROOM!! Basic toiletries including body gel, soap, and toael. Super hard bed. The female staff on the day is very rude but the male staff at night is super nice. Super long and steep stairs from the ground to the "lobby". No elevator. Not so worth but still fine if you just simply want a bed for a night

Uncomfortable bed that was weirdly sloped. The shower felt like an after thought and was really weird. No towel hooks and no toiletries besides a bar of soap. The breakfast was toast, tea/coffee and cheap orange juice. If all you need is a bed and you are fine with an uncomfortable bed this is your spot, if you want anything else then go somewhere else.

Just awful experience! I couldn’t stay there! I had to check out immediately once I saw my room and the hotel. interesting people coming in and out. I didn’t feel myself safe there and room lock wasn’t safe for me. I just felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. it’s absolutely not what it’s like in the pictures. For that price it’s just awful. Not helpful and understanding receptionist made my 10 minutes stay just very uncomfortable. I just had the feeling to leave immediately. And couldn’t get my money back! Never ever

Unsanitary hotel, Expedia should not even offer this hotel poor service on your behalf. Hotel bed cane rashes all over arms and face. Toilet did not flush, shower head leaked. Not as what appears in images shown. Overpriced honesty a rip off on both behalf.

Really bad hotel
Where to start... smells really bad, no so clean, stair are extremelly narrow which make is hard to walk up carrying a suit case, shower didnt work, the floor was very sticky and thr bed was hard as a rock. Other than that it was ok.

It is a simple and cheap but comfortable hotel near Bruxelles North Station. Large and clean single room. A lot of steps, no elevator. Honestly, I cannot demand more for that price!
