“Would stay here again”

The hotel was nice, and our room was very clean! Room service was great. The downside is they charged us a $15 early check in fee, there are no elevators, and I was charged by Expedia and by the Islander Inn.

“Great pet friendly hotel.”

This was our first vacation with our dogs. The Islander Inn at Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina made our stay easy and enjoyable. Rooms clean and relaxing. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Area recommendations
Bald Head Island tour is fun and pet friendly (Ferry and Island Historic Tour). Calabash seafood is a short distance away.

“Very Clean and Updated Appliances.”

We have stayed at the Islander before, but has been a few years since we were last there. We were pleasantly surprised with the clean rooms and updated appliances as well as bedding. Thanks for giving us a great long weekend!

“Just a Motel”

Chose this motel for a last minute beach trip. Room was clean and everything worked. Could use a little general maintenance. Room is set up like a motel suite,but is smaller,more like a older motel. Location is handy to causeway and view of beach was excellent. Weather was fine so did not spend much time in the room. Fine for a short trip and would consider using again under similar circumstances. Love Ocean Isle for the more calm and quiet atmosphere.

Dining
Due to nature of area there are not alot of places to eat. We ended up going to Calabash (toward Myrtle Beach) for dinner. Several places there and worth the 30 minute or so drive.

“Always enjoy it here!”

Just here for one night while attending a wedding, but have stayed here before and always a pleasure. Oceanfront room overlooked the pool. This time of year not much happening, but a nice, quality place to stay, for one night or one week, a great place!

“Will come back again”

Wonderful place right on the beach. Friendly staff. Great room. Walking distance to putt putt, shopping and food. Ocean view was amazing. Loved every minute we were there.

“perfect location, comfy accomodations”

My fiance and I had a great time at the Islander. The location is very convenient, walking distance to restaurants and shopping, room was clean and comfortable, check-in and check-out were very easy. Complimentary breakfast was sub-par and could use improvement.

“Will stay again”

The over all stay was great and the beach being right outside the door was wonderful

Was excellent to just walk along the shore and on the beach as the sun set.
