Good Base, no frills.

A great location, you will get what you book, a decent 3 star base. Don't expect anything more, you won't be disappointed. If you want a little more comfort or luxury, look elsewhere, however you will be paying more!

Good. Very near centre. Car parking (expensive)

Posted 16-Jul-2014
Pros: The comfort and the breakfasts.
Cons: The depressing décor in the bedrooms
Location: Situated immediately behind the belfry it is close to cafes, main squares, shops. canals, and everything one needs for a wonderful few days in Bruges.
A friend and I (both elderly) spent two nights here. We could not have room until 3pm but there were facilities for holding luggage. Room was very comfortable though décor rather depressing and similar in all the rooms we have used. In fact the hotel is large (caters for bus parties) modern, functional and rather characterless. We have stayed here several times as it is very close to the main square and also has underground car parking which initially were our reasons for choosing it. Parking is expensive but was free with a blue (disability) badge. The breakfast is exceptional and provided absolutely everything one could possibly require or desire. If one is looking for a useful base this one is impersonal but it very clean, it provides convenience, comfort, all the facilities one might need, and a helpful staff.

Nice stay, excellent location

Posted 15-Jul-2014
The place is just behind the main square, thus very handy. It is a nice and modern hotel with very nice staff. Unfortunately the WC was very dirty due to old yellow scale that nobody bothered to remove. Naturally, it did stink as well. The room was a bit small but nice and modern.

Bruges

Great central hotel! The hotel is located a minute from the main square and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Many great restaurants nearby.

Good, but...

Posted 04-Jul-2014
Pros: Location. Most of the main tourist sights, museums, churches etc. are a few minutes walk away.
Cons: The shower water temp was difficult to adjust (no thermostatic control). A possible issue for children or the disabled. Room lighting was inadequate.
Location: The Gronigen (?) art museum is a must for it's outstanding collection of Flemish old masters. Walking around the city along the canal is recommended.

Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: Better air ventilation in room. It was warm and stuffy.
Location: Location is great. Near Market square and within walking distance to all sites.
I would stay here again because of the location and the staff was nice.

Good to have secure parking, but very expensive. Also found it unusual to have to pay for Wifi - the only place we've had to on our trip around Europe this summer.

Great location in old Brugge Center

Posted 01-Jun-2014
Pros: Staff were all pleasant and helpful. No language issues at all. Rooms are quite small, but not atypical of what you generally find in Europe.
Cons: Improvement on room checks before the next guest -- we had a light out and a window latch that was unscrewed and lying on the windowsill on arrival.
Location: Great location. Everything you would want to do in Brugge is within walking distance, with one beautiful view after another.
A small "modern" hotel in the center of old Brugge. We stayed here two nights during a 10-day family trip (we the parents, and our 3 kids plus one of their spouses).
