Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. "This was my second time to Penrhos and this is rapidly becoming one of my favourite places to stay. The level of finish in the accommodation is exceptional and the attention to detail such as board games, items in the kitchen and basic supplies such as milk and butter are lovely touches. There is loads of space in Lodge 7 and it is my favourite lodge out of the 2 I’ve stayed in so far. Friday night we went for a meal in the cattle shed. "Absolutely faultless. We went as a group of friends to spend a long weekend away and we couldn't have stayed in a more perfect and serene lodge. We were fully equipped with everything we needed. Charlie, the host, paid us a visit to introduce herself on the Saturday and was really friendly. The hot tub was the absolute highlight. Overall, the perfect stay for a group of friends looking for a getaway. Thoroughly enjoyed and would 100% consider coming back"

"Great secure location for dogs, Peaceful in the evenings. Took two Huskies who like to be the leaders of other dogs and they got on well with their dogs too. Ragland Castle is worth a visit. Chepstow castle was a bit disappointing, rude reception women and half of it was closed for repairs with no mention by the reception women."

"Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

"Great open plan living/social space downstairs however upstairs whilst spacious presented its challenges. Too much light in master bedroom during the night from bathroom windows/skylight. Had to turn on the bathroom light when going to the loo waking partner! Separate lights perhaps? Bath towels very small and we are average height /build. A memory foam mattress is not to our liking and the duvet was quite heavy for this time of year. Very well equipped kitchen and social /entertainment...
