I had saved for this trip, it was one of the rare occasions I would have time to bond with my children as I've been very busy with work. We were all looking forward to this vacation. It was so special that I wanted everything to be perfect. And it was! I could have cried with happiness because the entire experience went beyond my expectations. It was so impressive, so luxurious, my children kept thanking me again and again. The inifinity pool, the beach, everything contributed to a lovely memory for me and my family. And the best part is.. it was relatively reasonable in comparison to the other bohol hotels!
On the last night of my stay in the Philippines, I wanted to try something very fancy. This hotel did not disappoint. In fact, this was the nicest place I have ever stayed in. The staff is friendly, the layout of the hotel grounds is beautiful, and the rooms are large and comfortable. My girlfriend and I spent a lot of time by and in the infinity pool. She went for a four-hour massage experience while I took advantage of the view, sitting out on the balcony and viewing the ocean. The food at dinner was great. The drinks were good. And though I would expect everything to be super, super expensive, it was all actually fairly, and I'd even say very well, priced. I highly recommend staying here.
Over our expectations. The staff was very attentive, with a smile on their faces. We felt welcomed. Beach was a few steps away and very private, not a whole lot of people at that time we came. We enjoyed resting in the hammock by the beach. Nice that there is security all the time. The food was excellent and well chosen.
What a place. The infinity pool is amazing, the room is big and luxurious.
To be honest, this is way out of our normal league, but we got this on an amazing promotion, so my impration is that of someone who is not used to this level of hotel.
With this accounted for, the hotel has great service and attention to details is top notch.

"Value for money? - Yes but there is so much more.."
Outstanding staff who appear to try to do anything to make guest feel welcome. Attentive without ever being overbearing or obsequious. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that have not managed to get that balance right. It seemed like if you wanted to be left to your own devices you got the privacy you wanted yet as soon as you needed something a staff member would appear out of nowhere.
Due to the time of our flight we arrived several hours ahead of the normal check-in time, yet this was not a problem for the staff and they went out of their way to have our room ready ASAP and at no extra charge. The room was a good size and very comfortable, despite being in the less favoured annexe building. The pool was spotlessly clean and very pleasant to use with complimentary towels for poolside use.
The restaurant was very good. For a hotel of this size the variety on the menu was impressive, catering to both western and Filipino tastes and very reasonably priced. There is a short walk required to reach the beach (5-10 minutes) but that should not deter anyone from considering this quite excellent facility.
In short we very much enjoyed our stay at Panglao Regents Park and when we departed it was with a heavy heart that we bade farewell to the simply wonderful staff there.
this hotel is under the cliff with a nice ambiance. upon check in the staff are very accommodating, Sir Jojo the manager is very pleasant to talk to. the room is big and nice. good for those traveler who knew how to drive the motorcycle coz' it's free for every room.food is a little pricey and i would suggest that they should add more filipino foods in their menu. their oven brick pizza is delicious. swimming pool is nice and clean. a 10minutes drive to Alona beach and nearby beaches like Dumaluan, south Palms, Eskaya, Bohol Beach, etc. but you have to rent a private car or van to reach the place, so it was an additional cost for the traveler. there's a free snorkeling gear and we enjoyed snorkeling in the cliff just below our hotel. Sir Jojo arranged our land tour for the whole day and the price of the transpo is a little bit high (2,500pesos) to reach the Hinagdanan cave, tarsier, bohol bee farm, man made forest, chocolate hills and all churches that you wanted to see. another pricey thing is the van that brought us to the airport upon check out which cost 650pesos. but overall it's worth to travel to bohol.
