One thing is “small town, old structure” and another is a decaying room.
Water leaking out of the toilet(floor) ,
no air conditioner/fan/ventilator.
Toilet was clogged,
shower curtain torn apart
Door only had a doorknob lock
Breakfast was great!

Staff were very nice, no air conditioning, and other guesses were supper loud up to late at night time. Internet was not good.
Reliable transit to and from the train station. The breakfast was very good with eggs made to order and fresh tortillas.
The curtain in the room was thin and did not block out the BRIGHT lights from the walkway. The room was sterile with bear amenities; there was no hand towel only thin bath towels. It is located 15 minutes walk from anything else.
The staff was very accessible, breakfast was delicious, and the beds were super comfy! The room had a thermostat but no heater though...🤔

Thank you for your comment, we thank you, and an apology for that detail, we already solved that problem, come back soon, kind regards, see you later.
Excellent afternoon
I would NEVER stay here. I was booked through Hotels.com as I was going into an area I did not know. It is in a somewhat isolated community so I did not want to wait to arrive to find accomodations.
HOWEVER, when we arrived at this hotel we were very discouraged as it is not in a good area of town. We did not feel safe so we chose NOT to stay here.

Very nice staff!
It's a small place that is currently working on expanding. Not a luxury stay by any means but economical, clean, friendly, and a good breakfast. Took a tour of the area with them and had a great time.

Great option for 1 night stay
Great choice if you are staying 1 night and riding the train CHEPE the next day.
Great place, amazing breakfast. Pedro the tour guy attached to the hotel was super helpful even though we didn't take a tour. Gas fires in room great for depths of winter!
Nice hotel. Clean, nice staff, very good breakfast every day included with eggs any stile, cheese, beans, quesadillas, chilaquiles, milk, coffee, orange drink... Just order it. Nice surroundings, daily newspaper. We were OK with this hotel.
An absolutely fantastic little hotel. Awesome traditional Mexican homemade breakfast!! Handmade tortillas. (No boring chain hotel food here). Warm cozy place with a nice fireplace. Fantastic experience. Would highly recommend.
It was a horrible experience to drive up to this hole in the wall of a hotel, weirdly set back from the street, with no lobby to speak of, bare rooms and overall bare-bone accommodations. I believe the positive reviews this hotel has posted have to have been FAKED. There is a massive lack of truthfulness posted about this hotel. (Just one objective example: The photo of their "Entrada Interior" is not their entrance at all. The photo shows a restaurant NEXT DOOR, now closed, which HAS NO CONNECTION to the hotel.) Check out my photos of what the hotel really looks like. See photos of the bare lightbulbs and exposed wiring. On the night I booked two rooms there, I was charged $1,035 pesos for each room. I believed I was really going to get the THREE-STAR hotel Hotels.com promised. The reality is that this is a one-to-two star hotel and I was embarrassed to have booked it for ourselves and our friends. (For the record: I've lived in Mexico for seven years. I have traveled all over Mexico and I have realistic expectations.) This place is a DUMP.

Nice experience
Rooms are comfortable, but we had some problems with the water in the shower. Breakfast was excellent
This is a small family run operation in Creel. We had taken the train, (El Cheppe) from Los Mochas through the copper canyon and decided to break the journey for an overnight stay. We were picked up at the train station, and taken to our hotel. The staff suggested we might like to take a tour of the region, for a small outlay. At nine o'clock next morning, we headed off on a five hour personal guided tour of the valleys and surrounds in a comfortable VW sedan. This was the highlight of our copper canyon experience. Thanks go to Caleb (and his son Diego) and all of the hotel staff.
Hotel staff was spectacular...their recommendations for guides, restaurants, activities were good. Room was clean! Breakfast was cooked on a massive, antique, wood-fired stove by the same nice woman who cleaned the rooms. Great! They drove us to the bus station and called ahead to our next hotel just to make certain everything went as planned. Plus, they put up with our horrible and nonexistent Spanish with good humor and patience. Central meeting room with really nice fireplace. 10 minute walk to the center of town. I think there are only 7 rooms.
A very small, charming hotel run by wonderfully kind and funny people. Great breakfast cooked on an antique wood-fired (turquoise enameled) stove! Huge central fireplace was a gathering place in the evening. Very clean, well-organized... comfortable beds, hot showers. They drove us to the bus station! We liked this place a lot.

Room ok but too insisting on taking tours
The hotel was ok but we did'nt appreciate the behaviour of the personal. They really put us under pressure on taking a tour with them. Once we refused, they became quite cold. Moreover, when we decided to book an extra night, they proposed us a higher rate than what we booked before. At the last moment, they proposed us a cheaper price but we had already found a cheaper place...
Great value in Creel. Very nice hosts of this comfy 6 bedroom little spit. Don't just drive by it, all the charm is on the inside. Just can't beat this for around $20usd.
A friendly comfortable little hotel. Staff were welcoming and I felt at home in front of the huge fire and in the cosy kitchen. Great WiFi signal. Heater in the bedroom was nice in the morning chill. Breakfast was good. Plenty of coffee.
