"Quaint stay, friendly staff, family run business. There is construction outside but did not hear it at all at night. The rooms are around the corner from the main office, very close to train station. We stayed on the bottom floor and there was one bathroom to share with one other room stay. The bathroom was newly renovated with a very nice shower. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated, single beds, with a sink, and a window that opens to a cute overgrown garden. "We had a great nights sleep and the room was lovely and clean. You could use some usb outlets by the bedside tables and a night light in the bathroom as the over head lights are a bit intense. It would be useful to have better direction to the lodge itself and parking. The phone number was very helpful and the girl who answered was as well. "

"I thought the accommodation was very good I have found that organising accommodation on line that there is no phone number to call as I had mediocrity me that needed a small fridge to put it in But as in both off my bookings they did put my medication in there own fridge and froze my ice bricks I had with me The only susjestion I can make that they should state if there is a fridge in the room or not because I just expected there would be one The breakfast in Oxford was good but...

"Was an ok find. Expedia states you can check in at 1pm, but it's 2pm. The room was well equipped with a kettle microwave and fridge. The bath mat could do with a wash, loo could have done with an extra flush, before we got there but it's not too much of an issue. The staff were friendly and JRR Tolkien's grave is in the cemetery opposite!"

"Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. "

"Roy was the manager on duty when we checked in and out. He helped carry one of our suitcases to our suite! He was awesome and helped out with some local areas to dine and visit. The suite was excellent, slippers and a robe waited our arrival, along with coffee, hot chocolate, tea and milk. Was very clean and a comfortable kind size bed. We loved it."

"This was such a unique stay! We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the diner which was lovely food and service. The motel was clean, the bed was incredibly comfy, it has great technology in the rooms and a lovely lounge/reception area. One member of staff stood out to us on the Sunday night, we had a drink in the lounge area and she really went above and beyond making sure I had the perfect drink as they originally didn’t have the drink I wanted. All the staff we encountered were so lovely which made the experience even better! No negatives at all!"
