I almost felt like we were back in the 1800s, but with the necessary modern conveniences. So many interesting and fun eclectic things to admire and in very interesting places. The screened-in back deck is the best seat in the house! The cabin is very clean!!!! I could go on and on about this place, because it's so unique. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

Very peaceful and quiet
Cabin was very rustic and eclectic with many country and cabin decorations. Owners were very easy to communicate with. The driveway up to the cabin is paved which was nice since it is the steepest grade i have ever seen! But we made it up with our mini van. Larger 2 beds are quite comfortable, the 2 twins not so much. My only other negative is that I like to cook when we stay and I had to wash everything before I used it for cooking or eating and once clean we kept items seperate from ones I had not washed so it worked out. The fireplace was very nice on several cold evenings. The best part is the screened in back porch with a swing and rocking chairs, vey peaceful and relaxing.

We love both of them, but Amy is a dynamo, and we are thrilled to have her help. That said, we are happy you enjoyed your stay and we are grateful for your 4-stars. Nice Rustic Cabin
Very pretty and interesting rustic cabin that has a unique personality to it. Quiet area on top of small mountain with a beautiful view and a cool breeze most of the time. Friendly town with lots of restaurants and things to do and see in the area. Very clean and well supplied with towels, dishes, pots and pans and everything you might need for your stay. Plan to try to come again this fall.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!
This is a MUST stay if you are in North Georgia!!! The owners are GREAT, the cabin and its history are phenomenal, and the location is to die for!!!! We had the best time and the owner's attention to detail is awesome!! I cannot say enough about the entire stay. This is on our must stay again list and I have sent the details out to all our friends!!! A MUST STAY!!!!!!

The Koehler's were super accommodating since we had to come in super late. Everything was perfect and ready to go! The communication to make sure we had everything was great & made us feel like they were only a phone call away! We definitely will be booking with them again in the future!!!

Hidden Gem
We previously stayed at this cabin and loved it so much! This will always be our go to when in this area. The host are very prompt on responding. Everything is as shown and advertised! The screened in porch is wonderful and very relaxing. We can’t wait to book again!! My only issue is we are larger people and the shower is small and better blinds or curtains to block out early sunlight.

A real log cabin
This cabin has all the amenities of home. We stayed for three days and did not want to leave. Very quiet and cozy. Cabin was spotless and the hosts could not be any nicer. We will be bay next year.

We had an amazing time relaxing in your sweet little log cabin. We loved everything, the weather was beautiful, the leaves are just starting to turn colors. I counted 10 deer in the front yard yesterday morning, and luckily no bears. Hope to return soon. Thank you Steve, Debbie and Jamie Burch.

The Faulks
Simply a wonderful stay. The cabin is adorable and a treasure. We were greeted with a full moon and a night sky decorated with a brilliant mosaic of stars. The only problem we had was my wife didn’t want to go home. She said she had found her peace and task me to find her a retirement cabin in the same vein. I especially enjoyed the comfy bed with pillow top. It was a joyful experience. Thank y’all so much!

Cabin on the Crest
Custom cabin on the crest of a mountain with spectacular sunrises and the sound of rustling leaves from the family of deer visiting daily. The serenity was very much welcomed. Lovely hosts. Excellent wi-fi without issue. The Blue Ridge mountains were amazing and would recommend a visit to the cabin on the crest. Thank you!

Mountain Top Delight
A beautiful authentic and rustic log cabin on the top of a mountain. Our family with two children really enjoyed it. For children be sure to check out the Dog Wood Creek Farm right down the road. We put up the provided humming bird feeder on the front porch and was entertained by the frequent visits by two hummers. The Koehler cabin is a place for returning.

Hi, Brenda: Thanks for your review, and for the four stars! We regret that the shower was not large enough for you, we installed showers rather than tubs in a trade-off for a more spacious kitchen. Most often we receive compliments on the showers because of the strong water pressure. We appreciate your comments, and have taken immediate action thereon: an extra visit to treat for any pests. If we ever find one, it’s legs up, and we aim to keep it that way for everyone’s comfort! Hope y’all can come back soon. :)

Cozy cabin!
This home was an adorable log cabin. We stayed for the weekend for my sons wedding. It was very close to the venue and to town. We enjoyed it very much. Had a minor issue (gas grill propane was empty) which the owner went above and beyond to fix the situation. Great stay! Loved it!

The log cabin location is awesome. Although the cabin has modern conveniences, the rustic interior enhances the experience of rural living. The family history of the cabin is quite interesting. Our stay was fun and relaxing.

Wonderful real log cabin
Loved this real log cabin!! Pictures are very accurate as to what the cabin looks like. Very unique info throughout the cabin about the construction and details of the cabin. Driveway is steep going up but did NOT need 4 wheel drive. We saw several deer while we were there. Pet friendly as well! Communication with host was prompt. The area was very quiet. We slept well in the bedroom downstairs. Had an outdoor grill and plenty of linens and anything we needed to cook with. We will be rebooking if we are back in this area. Sawmill Restaurant was an awesome place for breakfast!!

Very unique log cabin and it’s a real one! We only stayed three nights but was the perfect getaway on the way to stay with family for Thanksgiving. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. Making Our Best Memories
This place is one of the most beautiful places I've experienced. All of us were in awe of the Koehler Cabin. We learned so much about the treasures that live throughout this home. We marveled over everything from how the sticks and logs were put together to the wonderful fireplace to get cozy by. It's definetly a place we will come back too time again. The Host are amazing and we're available if needed when leaving I was priviledged to talk to Mr. Koehler who shared a little history behind the story of the cabin. What a teat. Thank you Mr. Koehler. You have such a wonderful legacy here. I will be encouraging my friends to come an experience this beautiful wonderful place to both see memories and make them. Can't thank you enough from all of my family to yours.....Happy Thanksgiving.

My husband and I have stayed here before. The cabin is quaint and in a quiet area with only a few homes surrounding it. We had everything we needed. The owners are great to work with. Easy access to the cabin. Highly recommend this rental!

The cabin was nice. There were a couple of issues. The area around the dryer w/h area had a propane gas smell. I also would suggest they use covers on the bed pillows or wash them as sometimes they pick up sweat smells. Otherwise stay was nice. We had good family time.

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin. The location was close enough to town, but far enough away to have a relaxing stay. And the feel of the cabin reminded us of being at a grandparent’s house. Absolutely charming.

It was an awesome time away. Would like to point out to owner that toilet on main floor needs some work and that the gas grill needs some replacement parts. I would have taken care of it while there, but I did not have tools. If owner wants to contact me direct, 478-952-1850, I will be happy to discuss. Only other issue was that their cleaning folks left a little to be desired. There were cobbwebs everywher inside the cabin. The cabin itself was awesome, quant an very welcoming.

Graduation getaway
Last minute booking for my sons graduation from Young Harris. Owners are quite friendly and responsive!!! Dog friendly place which is quite important to us. Screened in back porch and water pressure was my favorite but overall the place was enjoyable and pretty nice...my son loved it. We hosted a couple of small get togethers with my sons friends less than 6 people at a time and they all loved the place as well. Definitely would stay again.
