The Palumbo Hotel is an enchanting masterpiece. Every minute is a feast for the senses. The decor was superb and the staff was very accommodating.
It is in a very good location, and there is a charming little cafe next door.
I would definetely return to this hotel if I am lucky enough to go back to Ravello some day.

Although this is a small hotel by some standards, the staff are accomodating and friendly - doing whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. The views are beautiful as are the hotel rooms. A great terrace for breakfast and drinks. Highly recommended
Villa Maria is in the perfect location. A bit off the main Piazza in Ravelo which means it is quiet and tranquil, yet near enough to be close to restaurants and shops. You do have to have mobility as one cannot just drive up to the entrance to the hotel. You park in a car park just off the Piazza and walk about 5 minutes uphill. At first that can be a bit daunting, but assuming you are in reasonably good shape, you will soon find the short hike just part of the ambience. Someone will bring your luggage up for you so you don't have to drag it with you. The effort is well worth it. The hotel is lovely and has a wonderful terrace with an amazing view of the Mediterranean. Try a Negroski or Negroni while there. The restaurant is excellent, and most of the staff are friendly, resourceful and accommodating. Our room (103) was comfortable and had a large window looking out over the hotel garden, vineyard and ultimately down to the Sea.

"Very well run hotel; great, eager to please staff"
Had a great 7 night stay at Hotel Bonadies. We didn't have a balcony in our Standard Room, but we did have the most beautiful view imaginable, plenty of space, air conditioning and every comfort. A special mention to the housekeeping staff for their efficiency and very high standards. The outdoor breakfast dining area, rooftop terrace with seating and sun loungers and pool area are on three different levels and all have breathtaking views. A good buffet breakfast is provided, with coffee and tea being served by staff at tables.

Over 300 steps from town centre but that gives you good views and away from other tourists. Very basic breakfast left in fridge for 2 days and room not made up after first morning. Need to be fit (and carry minimal luggage) to enjoy this b&b. Only a small bar up the street that opens at 4pm so may want to take extra food with you. Worth the effort.

drove to ravello and had a little trouble finding ravello rooms but completely worthwhile as our room was a good size and the view spectacular. Guiseppe was the best host with great friendly advise, great coffees and lovely breakfasts. Our 4 days there went all to fast. Highly recommend. There are a few stairs to climb but there are stairs everywhere.
This is a quite unique property, having been converted from its original use as a priest's house, connected as it is to the old church. The welcome and service had just the right balance of friendliness without intrusion.
All of the things you would expect from a professionally run hotel were there with the added charm and atmosphere of a cottage bed and breakfast.. It is also very good value for money and although there were only two of us, would very well suit families of 3-6.
There is a good restaurant down the steps and a local bar which gives on to the village square. We enjoyed thoroughly having a beer among the locals during the evening "passegiare" and all of the attractions of the Amalfi coast are within easy driving distance, bearing in mind that driving on the Amalfi roads can be hair-raising, though exhilarating!
The address, entered in the Sat Nav dod not quite take us all the way! Keep on driving up until you reach the parking "square". One euro will get you an hour so you can take the steps to the main square. Cross this and continue up about twenty steps to the gate of the property, where the entryphone will admit you. The proprietress will supply a free parking permit for your stay.
