"A very "local"local pub. Very friendly and helpful staff and landlady, and also friendly helpful locals. Good breakfasts. We ate one night in the bar - proper pub grub! Great location for us going to events in South Petherton and Glastonbury. Lovely area - noted the South Somerset Cycle route for another time1"

"I am delighted to recommend The Brewer's Inn. Comfortable bed, enough tea/coffee etc., sensible tap for kettle filling, large bath/shower, sufficient towels and a towel rail near a radiator, easy access wardrobe, excellent dinner and breakfast. Why aren't all hotel rooms as well designed? I would recommend fitting a grab rail for the bath. I was helped with my luggage as well. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is one of the very best. Many thanks. "

"Unfortunately the pub was closed for our Tuesday night stay. This meant that we had to drive to another pub for our evening meal, which wasn't very good at all. Also meant that as the driver I couldn't have a drink. Which was the whole idea of staying at the Hood Arms was an evening in an old pub. Breakfast was supurb as was the room. Great place to stay just not (currently) on a Monday or Tuesday. Landlord was really appologetic and very helpful."

"Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

"We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group...
