Everything great. Only small thing to mention: The top bed of the bunker beds are so low that it is almost impossible to sit on the lower bed without hitting your head. Putting on my shoes made me hit my head frequently.

The place is lovely as far as the shared spaces--really tastefully decorated. The rooms are extremely clean. The bedding, etc., is in excellent condition. The clerks, etc., are friendly and helpful. I'm not sure why there aren't more guests--or there weren't when I was there. I will say this-- it was very cold to sit around and read or go online or do anything. I put on all my warm clothes and still couldn't keep warm.

Great, clean hostel!
This was a great, clean, modern hostel. While it was still a hostel (people snoring, entering/exiting anytime of day, other things out of their control, etc), it was always incredibly clean and well-maintained. They do have a kitchen that is open 24/7 that you can store both refrigerated and non-refrigerated food in. If I need to stay in Bilbao again, I would stay here. Beds were comfy as well and all sleeping areas are kept cold and dark all day/night.

A perfect option for staying the night. Rooms are quite small but have all the basic necessities. Staff present at night for late arrival, helpful with tips. Luggage storage available which was important for us to spend the day in the city and pick it up before leaving. Nice location with restaurants and bars in the area, and around 15 min walk to the old city.

Location location location !!!Literally just around the corner from the Guggenheim Museum this hostel is well located.However it is a hostel and hostels aren’t for everyone.Bring your earplugs and travel towel or pay the price for private room elsewhere.As hostels go this one is poshier than most with its own restaurant and bar,Very accommodating friendly staff.

Definitely recommend
Welcoming environment, workers were professional and the room was comfortable and clean. The only caveat I have is that myself and my roommates couldn't find the climate control remote so staying in August on the 4th floor got pretty toasty at night. Other than that, no complaints.

No sleep hostel
No sleep at all! People were allowed to check in anytime throughout the night so I was awaken by backpackers coming in at 12:30am, then at 1am, and at 3am! Some people were inconsiderate and turned on every lights in the room to unpack and shower! Absolutely worst sleep ever.

Clean & comfy BUT one bad incident ruined it.
Not a social hostel, don’t stay if you’re looking for a party or want to interact with people. It’s quite clean, but the bathroom could do with a floor cloth, it gets wet after people take a shower. Hair dryers are only located in the toilets on the 1st floor. I stayed in a 6 and 8-bed room (2 separate occasions within a week), beds were comfortable. What ruined it for me was my last day - I asked to do laundry (wash and dry), and had to purchase tokens from the counter. I only found out after running the dryer for a 40-min cycle, that “it’s been having some problems”. The staff promised that he’d help me “check on it” while I went for my walking tour - I returned 3 hours later after the walking tour and lunch, and it was still wet. I tried putting it in for another cycle, and it still didn’t work. They refunded me my money and I had to walk for 15-mins in the rain with my laundry to a self-service laundromat to dry it, as I had to leave early the next morning - this whole exercise wasted 2 full hours of my day. Had they told me the dryer wasn’t working (which he clearly knew because he said it’s been “having some problems”), I wouldn’t have done my laundry that day.

Nice little hostel in a great area. This was my first experience staying in a hostel. I would definitely stay here again. Very near the Guggenheim museum, with many dining options nearby. Staff was very friendly and made checking in and out very easy.

The hostel is quite nice. It's very clean and the cafe on site had some really good pintxos for breakfast but the bed were painfully uncomfortable.

Clean, but Staff could be more helpful & informed
Definitely not a social hostel (they don’t organise any activities to encourage interaction, even at their bar next door, which is a pity) but it was relatively clean, and the beds were quite comfortable - would be better if they had a curtain to the bed. Also, on my last day, I did a round of laundry and the guy charged me 5€ for washing and drying a load... But failed to mention that the dryer was not working well until I asked them why it was still wet after the first round of drying (a 40min cycle). After 3 rounds of “drying”, they eventually refunded me the money and left me with a bundle of wet clothes, and the advice that the nearest autoservice laundromat is 20mins away. Luckily, Google turned up another laundromat that was a 10min walk away. Not impressed.

Great Spot
I chose this place because it is right next to the Guggenheim and it was a great decision. The hostel was remarkably clean and has a nice little kitchen and cool shared spaces. There is a lot of helpful information in front of the check-in desk and also lots of help behind the desk :) I recommend renting a bike at Tourne Bilbao and taking the Camino del Norte out to the beautiful coast. The ride is beautiful.

Internet in the room was slow and not fast as advertised. Signal was poor from the bed. Staffs were helpful and friendly through . They need to replace their furniture in the lobby as they look so worn out. Couldn't sleep because the footsteps of the people on the next floor can really be very very bothersome as the walls of this hostel is thin. You will wake up for sure. Toilet in our room was clean and the temperature was warm enough so I don't get cold while bathing. Hot water worked perfectly. Windows in the room were helpful to get some fresh air. Nice oantry with utensils, paper towels and SmEG kettle

Nice hostel in great location
We found the common areas of the hostel to be beautifully decorated and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and can advise on just about anything. The private room was simply decorated but comfortable, for the price we were very happy to stay there! The location is great, only a short walk to the Guggenheim. You can also walk to the river easily, cross over and get the funicular up the hill or take the light rail to the old town in one direction and a lovely large park in the other. There is a contemporary art gallery just across the road that we enjoyed looking into as well :) The attached cafe has great food and good prices as well, would definitely recommend staying at the hostel and taking advantage of it.

Very modern and well maintained hostel in great location. Room and bed were excellent with clean toilets and bathrooms. Would highly recommend. Only downside was that it lacked sufficient staff to deal with check- ins and there was always a long wait to speak to staff.

Very nice hostel close to Bilbao's main sights
I had a very enjoyable staying at the Poshtel. It was very close to the Guggenheim, and only about a 15-20 minute walk to the Caso Antiguo (and you have to walk through the main shopping areas of Bilbao, so it's not an unpleasant walk by any means). The staff was very friendly, and check-in and check-out were both a breeze. The room itself was quite comfortable, I found the beds to be very cozy and I slept very well. There was plenty of hot water in the shower, and the bathroom was clean overall. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Bilbao!

Great location, better staff!
This hostel has a great location near the river and the Guggenheim Museum. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although some of my fellow guests were quite loud one night. By the far the best thing about the hostel was the receptionist Anne, who was cheerful, efficient and very willing to share her knowledge about Bilbao and the Basque language and culture. She was an excellent ambassador for the city.

Not just for college students!
Poshtel is great! So much better than I expected! One 87 year old woman was solo traveling too and said hostels keep her young! The only reason the comfort level wasn't rated higher was I'm too tall to sit upright on a bottom bunk and multiple women in my dormitorio were snoring. The sheets were way better than expected! The breakfast (cafe con leche and 1 pintxo) was only €1.60 until noon! Lots of non-hostel customers came in for breakfast or lunch. Great location for walking everywhere in the city.
