“Way less than impressed!”
Girl at desk on checkin was wearing a hoodie with the hood up as if she was going to knock over a convenience store. While "helping" us, she actually stuck her tongue out at another employee and starting laughing like a child. Rooms very small and rundown, bedding old and ratty. Being located near an incredible national treasure like Yellowstone must mean not having to care about quality or customer service because people will come anyway. Very unprofessional behavior and shoddy rooms considering the cost!
“dirty dirty dirty”
it would be better to sleep in the street. this motel well was dirty. we were told before we went there was a pool and there was but it was more like a pond. the rooms are big and close to yellowstone thats all it has going for it.
“Nastiest room I have ever stayed in.”
Filthy room, tattered bedding, worn out furniture, outlets so worn out they would not hold a plug in appliance,(hair dryer, etc.), extrememly run down. Motel looked as if it has not seen any maintenance in 20 years or better.
“Good Location, Quiet Nights Rest, Older motel”
The hotel was older and is in need of some repair and updating, but it was a quiet night's sleep and very close to Yellowstone. Our room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. The lobby clerk was nice to us and the log cabin look to the exterior was charming. Looks like they were working on the pool and getting it ready for the summer season.
“Off season can be busy”
This was a good choice for us. A tad expensive, but since just outside YNP all the motels have inflated prices. At first glance there seems to be lots of dining and drinking places, but we found few with good atmosphere, available seats and good prices.
“Not whas was described.”
Description implied breakfast which was not provided. The heater did not work, repair was promised but not accomplished. The smoke detector started its low battery squawk in the middle of the night and could not be shut off. No one answered at the front desk to help. It was repaired the next day. The room was large and comfortable, but all in all, not worth the money.
“Never Again”
Hotel was nice once. Now it is run down. Hall ways and entrances to rooms dirty with stained carpets. Room was the worst of a seven day trip. Could not connect reliably with wireless ethernet.
“Wow ...awful”
Having read some reviews, I thought that it cannot be that bad. Well it is. My biggest complaint was the dirty shower water that dripped through my ceiling for three days, whenever the people upstairs had a shower. The first day, they told me that they had fixed it. The second day, they told me that the people up stairs had been throwing water all over the room. The third day I was getting desperate and they did eventually take down the ceiling and fix it. One receptionist was friendly, and sympathetic, but the rest did not really care. The owner was never around and I was told that they could not get hold off her. This was a lie, as they did when I kept complaining. Also noisy. When a bus load of tourists turn up at 11pm and all leave at 7am. My advice is to go somewhere else or camp. I always stay in the cheapest hotels but this place takes some beating for awful, dirty, unhygienic. and unfriendly
“Good Place for the money”
Good place to stay on a budget. We were looking for a clean place to sleep for the night and this hotel fits the bill.
“Not impressed”
"Room" was actually 2 rooms with a small kitchenette. Would have been nice to be able to use the kitchen facilities, but there were no cooking utensils and most of the facilities were not up to anyone's cleanliness standards. One queen bed had only one pillow for 2 people. Room was left with only 3 towels for 4 people more than once. Pool was empty of water. We are not terribly hard to satisfy, but this was below even our standards. we do not recommend this site for anyone who wants more than a place to sleep and wash. On the positive side, this site was within walking distance of everything in town.
