Get together
A good location for Berwick. The property was great for a fit 87 year old and rest of family. Great for a dog, lots of fab walks. A bit chilly in the evenings due to lack of warmth during the day, a cool week 🙄 Friendly neighbours near to the property too. Excellent wine bar in town on Bridge Street, relatively new, highly recommend, so friendly.

Well equipped family home
The house was well equipped, but quite cold despite it being summer. There were neighbors at behind that were grinding and drilling from early in the morning, which wasn't very restful. The mattress in the master bedroom was not comfortable investment in new one is essential. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but think it was overpriced.

A cosy cottage in a great location
The Blue House is attractively furnished, comfortable, well-equipped and within walking distance of the centre of the town and many points of interest. We spent Christmas there, and were delighted to discover that our hosts, Tim and Fiona, had provided us with not only a bottle of bubbly but a fully decorated Christmas tree as well. It was a really thoughtful touch. We would happily stay at the Blue House again as we didn't have time to explore all the things there are to see and do in this lovely part of the country.

Lovely character, excellent location!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue House. The property itself is just as shown in the pictures, the hosts Fiona and Tim were accommodating from start to finish-even offering a lift from the train station! Lovely touches like free wine (always appreciated!) cereal, biscuits etc made us feel so welcome. Beds were comfy and location is great, easy to find and only a few mins on foot to the centre.

Great short stay!
I had a great birthday weekend staying in the lovely, comfortable house in the middle of Berwick. It was no near to everything we wanted to do and a perfect cosy base for the evenings. A lovely hamper was left for us with wine, cereal, biscuits etc which meant we were fully relaxed straight away! Thank you!

Perfect coastal retreat with very helpful and supportive owners
Blue House in Berwick ticked all our boxes and we had a wonderful holiday. The owners did everything to make our holiday enjoyable. We found everything we could possibly need for our stay including books and brochures about Berwick and the area around. Northumberland and the Scottish Borders are well worth a visit offering a beautiful landscape and loads to see and to do. We'll definitely come back again.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable house in the heart of the town!
We had a truly wonderful weekend stay at the Blue House. The owners met us at the property to show us around and give us parking permits for the weekend (so helpful). We loved the layout of the house and especially the fireplace which made our stay so cosy. An easy walk to restaurants, pubs, shops, etc from the house made it the perfect location. We would recommend the Blue House to anyone looking for a comfortable home away from home getaway.
