I booked 3 rooms in the property, 2 superior & 1 club.1) Room1(Superior):The size & room amenities were decent.The ac was directed towards the sleeping area & could not be controlled.So we had to turn it on/off so as to regulate the temperature which i thought was a pain. The bathroom wasn't designed as it should be for a 4* hotel.The tap fittings were outdated & wasn't functioning well.Hot water in the bathroom was very scarce.2) Room2(superior):The A/c in this room did not work & we had to repeatedly call the maintenace to fix.There was an infant in this room and it was terribly hot to stay without the a/c.Even after repeatedly complaining they did not or could not fix it & the guests in the room spent the whole evening in another of our room.Finally close to midnight they gave us another room which also had a faulty a/c.We were tired & gave up.Bathroom in this room was great.3) Room3(club room):Had booked a club room for my parents as the size was bigger but here again the nightmare with the a/c continues.Similar situation as the Room 2 & finally after mid night this room was also changed to the adjacent one and they provided with a cooler which i think is creepy because if i had to book a room with air cooler i would have looked for a hotel which is cheaper and not pay ridiculous amount.The next day we continued with 2 rooms as the hotel promised better service which to an extent they did.But I cant forget all that happened previous night. Staffs were friendly.

Terrible experience at Goldfinch Bangalore
Our experience was terrible. There was muddy water in the shower. The manager was least bothered to address our concern when the issue was reported. The Wifi was crappy. When asked for a compensation, the Manager gave us a Dinner voucher for two with a validity from Jan 2020 to March 2020. That was ridiculous. It appeared that they were not interested to address our concerns. Will never ever recommend to anyone. In case if I come to know someone whom I know is planning to stay there, I will definitely discourage them to stay at Goldfinch Bangalore. The manager attitude is that they are too big to fail. Horrible horrible experience

Clean hotel that's inefficient.
Don't get me wrong. This is a good hotel and must have seen good days, before. But I got the feeling that the place is run entirely by interns who were inexperienced and inadequate. My first encounter happened with a check-in girl who charged GST over the GST-included amount and decided to charge my card for it. Luckily, I found out the mistake and she promised that the excess amount will be refunded on check-out. Next, I go up to the room and the lock would not open. So the intern from the reception came up and forced the lock to yield. This happened every time, I wanted to open the door, someone was called to force the lock open! I discovered that my bags weren't sent up, so I had to call for them . Which became a recurring thing. The AC wouldn't work. Call and remind. The kettle wouldn't work. Call and complain. Remind again. The flush wouldn't flush. Call. The fridge had beers but no bottle opener. Call and ask. Remind after 15 mins. Fellow comes with an opener in his keychain and wanted to open as many as I wanted to drink, in one go! They say filter coffee, but they send instant coffee. There is food served in the room with no hand tissues. Hand towels are missing in the bathroom! Two 500 ml bottles of water, are given per day. Call and ask for more. Internet doesn't work on its own. Call and remind every time you get into the room. The key cards do not get updated automatically. Call and remind. The list goes on. What goes for the place is that its clean n peaceful

They North Indian Food being served by them is pathetic. You can't even chew it. Room is very Basic. The toiletries supplied are empty box.

The club room was spacious, however not very clean. The staff is friendly but when you request anything from the reception, no matter how clear you are, you need to insist to make sure they understand what you need as they would never say no.

Avoid if you want a comfortable stay
This place was an absolute shambles. I was shocked to read that it was built in 2015, because the rooms looked like they were at least 10 years old - dirty and worn with chipped and cracked marble and tiles. The TV screen had uneven color and burn-in. Service was appalling starting with checkin, when other disgruntled guests kept interrupting to have the staff correct mistakes while they were supposed to be helping me. My first room turned out to not be cleaned when I entered. My second room had a door to an adjoining room, through which I could hear the other guest breathe, despite having asked for a quiet room. My third room turned out to be booked for only one night and I was locked out when returning from the gym. WiFi was also turned off after one day and had to be reactivated. After checkout, I had an hour to wait to be picked up by friends. I asked for coffee, which they said they would bring. Time passed. A second person came by and asked if I wanted something, and I said I had ordered coffee and could she check for me? Yes, of course. Nothing happened. I asked a third time, before resigning to skip coffee. Twenty minutes later, a few minutes before my company arrived, the coffee arrived, so I had to gulp it down. Then they had the nerve to ask me for 7 rupees change (10 cents). On Sunday night, they had a party in the ballroom that made the entire block shake until 11:30 pm. On the positive side, Monday night was quiet - it is situated on a small back street.

It was my finacee's birthday hence we had booked this hotel. The first problem that i faced was there were no bathtubs in king size bedrooms but only in the single bed rooms. A bit weird. When i told them about the day they did upgrade me in their own words and i was given room 210. The room was nice and seemed normal. There was a building right outside the window and hence nothing to view. The problem was the bathroom. The tub didn't have a stopper, it didn't seemed cleaned and the water use to flood the bathroom when anybody has a shower. It just didn't seem right. On afterthoughts maybe it was just a spare room kept and not used much. However the hotel staff and service was good. They use to come and clean the bathroom whenever called and they also arrange for a special cake. Good place to stay. Maybe next time I'd be more carefully before i chose the room.

Best hotel with nice breakfast supper to handle
It was a short day stay but the hotel felt like home. The room and the staff are at the best. The only displeasure is with the A/C. It wasn't able to filter out the cigarette smell smoking by other guests in the hotel. This was bit annoying. But apart from this everything was crystal perfect.

Convenient,Clean,Worth the Money & Very nice hotel
It was a very nice and pleasant stay at Goldfinch Hotel, the staff was very well trained & polite, decent & helpful. All room services provided were upto the mark. Ac was very well working,(cooled the room as cool as North Pole within minutes). I didnt got to taste the breakfast as i woke up after 10.30 & whatever food i had ordered it was very well cooked & was having a great taste. The reception staff was very kind & helpfull too. Very much happy with the hotel and its services, its a must stay hotel in the heart of the city, i will suggest everyone to go for it without hesitating or thinking about something. I have already booked the hotel again for my next visit in next month.

CHECK OUT TOOK ALMOST 45 MINUTES AS THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON IN THE MORNING AT 8.45 AM (PEAK TIME). HE WAS A CONFUSED PERSON ALMOST TAKING 30 MINUTES TO CLEAR ONE GUEST.

Good hotel need an improvement in services.
The hotel is really good in terms of stay and the restaurants, however the lobby service needs lots of improvement. Check in time took more than 15 minutes the staff were not informed about the room allocation and chatting with each other for quiet a long time. The size of the room and comfortness was really excellent and enjoyed the stay. Food, there are multiple options if you are kabab lover please do book table in advance which is in the roof top. Otherwise, if you are seafood lover the ground floor restaurant has so many varieties for you.

Disappoint
Disappoint to Hotels.com and goldfinch hotel because I got The confirmation No. and e-mail from Hotels.com. I, however, never get a hotel room when I had got the goldfinch hotel. The Reception said to me that they didn’t get any booking information for my confirm # from Hotels.com and the hotel already full book. I leave the Goldfinch and walked on a street in Bangalore to find hotel. I really disappoint your booking system. I just recommend to everyone who do booking some hotel in here, MUST call to the hotel even if you would get confirm e-mail

Not 4 star hotel
It was ok The wifi didn't work on the second day of stay. In the room the side lamp didn't work. In the bathroom their was no place to hang your clothes. I don't believe that this hotel is 4 star. Maybe it's 3 star but definitely not 4 star.

Good Business Hotel
Hotel is okay for business visit. Staff are quite cooperative. Condition of the romms are just okay though furniture are quite old & not maintained well. Resturant food is good though slightly expensive & service is not up to the mark. Location is good. stay was more or less comfortable.

Definitely 3 star Maybe 3.5 stars but not 4
Apart from: 1. builders banging on the wall installing a bedhead in the room next to mine, piece by little piece (why this needed to be done just after i checked in, I don't know) 2. the Spa being 20% off but in reality only massages (they wanted to do my 80 minute facial in a lean back barber's chair due to rooms being busy!) no disclosure until in the clutches of the 'Spa', 3. the very basic breakfast buffet and 4. terrible wifi service The stay was fine

Great little hotel!
The hotel staff were exceptional and very friendly. My only frustration was with the exercise room (obviously relevant for few people in the hot S.Indian summer!) where the treadmill caused the power circuit to turn off every 3-9 minutes and completely stopped the machine. However, the staff tried to help every time :) Beds and rooms were beautiful and location was off a quiet street making it a nice place to stay.

Casual and Non professional attitude of staff
AC does work properly. Replacement of room not taken care properly , after several request the room was changed to a similar problematic air condition . Food bill from restaurant was not given at the time of checkout.

Location is good, room is not hygenic and its not looks like an executive room, toilet is not at all spacious and comfort. Can say ok. Seems Front desk staffs are not happy as we book through net and took in less rate.
