“Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel in city centre”

Would definitely stay here again if we return to Belfast. A few minutes' walk from Belfast City Hall. Staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I can find fault with is the TV - the signal was not good and there was much interference on it. Apart from that, it is a very good hotel.

The staff were very helpful. If I needed help with anything all I had to do was ask and the staff would sort it out for me. The room was cleaned to a high standard everyday with fresh coffee and tea put in. The food though expensive was very good.. The kids used the swimmimg pool, gym and sauna all free of charge which was excellent. The hotel is situated in a busy area of Belfast but the noise of the traffic didnt bother us at all. We were within easy reach of the city centre which meant that even though one traveller was disabled, we still managed to get around and see the sights. Altogether it was a fantastic holiday with lovely people and we would definately go again, infact we are thinking of it.

“Perfect Hotel.”

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to make our stay enjoyable.The position of the hotel is perfect, only two streets away from the City Hall. The leisure facilities were the best I have ever seen, the pool was quite large and bright having natural daylight.The breakfasts were very good and substantial and the service was second to none. I would definately recommend this hotel and will be staying there again on my next trip to Belfast.

“Good value pleasant place to stay”

I would recommend the Holiday Inn Belfast for location to the city centre, good friendly service and clean comfortable rooms. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment. The nice extra was inclusive use of the health club.

“Nice hotel in central Belfast”

Everything went smoothly from checkin to checkout. The service was good and the employees were very nice. Our room was clean and light with a nice big restroom...It is walking distance to anything that you would like to see in Belfast.

“ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC”

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn Belfast, after booking tickets a long time ago for a motorport event that was happening in the nearby Odessy Arena. We were looking for a nice hotel that was close to the town centre, never visiting Ireland before, we went with what expedia recomended. And what a great recomendation, lovely room, great pool, relaxing hot tub, energetic gym and a liquid filled bar. It made our stay what it was!

The hotel experience Holiday Inn delivered was OK, but I've experienced better from others in the same chain. The check-in was a bit slow with what seemed to be only one person actually doing any work. The gym and facilities were absolutely stunning though with gleaming machines in a well maintained and air conditioned glass area overlooking part of Belfast. The pool, steam room and sauna were also well maintained and clean. The room was a little tired and in need of updating or alternatively a seriously deep clean in the bathroom which exhibited two different colours of mould around the edge of the bath (perhaps for variety?). The TV was still a CRT (Tube TV) rather than a flatscreen but despite this, the beds were very comfortable and came complete with a "pillow menu" (no joke - 5 to choose from!). Breakfast was well laid out and the staff were fairly efficient but checkout was interesting when the clerk tried to charge me for my stay. This was disappointing as I'd already paid in full for my stay using Expedia and had the mail to prove as such which I sent on to them. Eventually it was sorted without a problem, but more effort than it ought to have been. Overall, I would stay again but this time probably wouldn't hold my tongue about the cleanliness of the bathroom.

“Belfast Theatre Break”

The Executive room was spacious for the 3 of us. I liked the wooden panels instead of curtains. The swimming pool was empty at first, my daughter loved it.

Read many poor reviews but pleased with our experience. Positives - really handy location for city centre, friendly staff, excellent gym, perfectly adequate breakfast, comfy beds and everything in room clean. Yes, the hotel is showing its age but not half as bad as many reviewers have suggested. Enjoyed our stay.
