Overall was a nice Hotel. Very quiet as guests start to come back to China. Room was over hot and no local control so after a couple nights bad sleep and feeling sick, got maintenance to open the windows. Made it just bearable. Buffet dinner and breakfast good, but dinner only on weekends and the Chinese restaurant was pretty upper class. That left in room dining, so when I finally located a menu the food was good, if not way too much. Massage downstairs was good and the gym and pool exceptional. Could easily get 2km in each day given a nice 25m length.

家人推荐一定要入住北京索菲特大酒店，来北京旅游，所以选择入住北京索菲特大酒店，酒店大堂很华丽，前台人员办理入住也很及时，态度也很好，房间舒适，设计感十足，早餐在B1层，每天都有不同种类的菜品，食材新鲜，服务也很好，Candy 对我们一家真的很好，我们入住四天，帮我们安排自助餐，从颐和园滑冰回来，饱餐一顿，价格合理，小火锅暖暖的，这次家人旅行，真的很开心，下次再来北京，还会入住.

Location-wise, it is centrally located but do not get there by subway if you have large luggage as you have to go up 6 flights of stairs to get to the surface. The property is ok but some stains and damages on the back of the door/wall. The lighting is kind of dark and difficult to see even you do not have any visual impair. Good to have free mini-bar. Breakfast is pretty good, large selection.

I never checked in for my reservation, the property clearly states that there is a 1 night fee charged in the event of a no-show, because I had a medical emergency, and the difference was not refunded!

This hotel is very funky. Do not think about traditional Sofitel. It is very modern no far from metro station and shopping street.

Went there 2 years ago as they were finishing the property, went again because I had good memories. The place is close by the airport (shuttle), rooms are very well appointed and breakfast is great.

Conveniently located, English speaking staff, decent food, comfortable rooms - no complaints! Have stayed here a few times since it’s opened, my new go to hotel when I need to be near the geographic center of the city. decor a bit funky for the business traveler but i like it as it changes things up especially if you’ve been on the road for a while.

Love the hotel design.

Never book this hotel again! Disappointment!
Worst experience and bad customer service. Was book this fancy hotel for my Beijing trip but end up four stars hotel is better than them. First, we’ve booked it with some special request as it’s for me birthday. I checked in during my birthday date, the staff never wish me, maybe have some surprises in my room. End up, no surprise at all and what the purpose I book this hotel. Four stars hotel given a fruits plater, it’s better than them? Yes, obviously. I’m not kind of people like to ask free give, but suprises does make guests feels better. Secondly, I booked my stay for two nights in different booking, and I’ve checked with front desk that my card access can use until I check out. He says Yes. On the second day when I back to hotel, my room key is not working for the lift and room, so I have to go down and queue about 15mins to wait for my turn. I’m not sure why this is happen especially I have asked during my check in whether I need to go over front desk to update my card. Disappointment! For other traveller, if you booking this for special occasion, I recommend you to call them to confirm they have received your special request otherwise pls book others hotels which they can do better than them. Lastly, not worth for my trip, superb disappointment for the fancy hotel.

Good option
Good for business travel. They have a nice fitness center and the restaurant has a variety of options, including western food. The location is close to center of city with Forbidden City and Tianemen square a few miles down the road.

Cannot ask for more. Breakfast is unexpectedly good. Pool is good and big enough. Service is very very good. One attendant called Jacky patiently helped me call cars so that even when I cannot do didi he has cars arranged for me for every trip.

I have stayed with my family for 2 nights. Hotel service was great and so is the room and service. We ate only at the hotels restaurant and On the next day my wife got food poisoning. For 3 days she was in a very bad condition. My advice is not try the restaurant . The food is handled poorly.

Great facilities and staff. Club lounge not comparable to other W's or other chain hotels, but an overall pleasant experience. Not a great location for outside dining or entertainment options and taxi services for return trips to the hotel are not easily found in Beijing.

Very nice hotel, very modern and appealing. Location quite good close to Beijing train station and subway station. Very nice gym with pool and personal trainers. Rooms were exceptionally well equipped. Very recommendable.

The hotel is near the city centre, have the traditional "W" style with all the fancy decoration. Room is perfect, love the bathroom and the tub so much. And best cocktail at X25 bar, stunning view also.

Nice Stay at the W
Interesting stay at the W. Seemingly it was a different hotel before and has been redone as the W (hence why taxi drivers dont seem to know it). You can definitely tell that it is a bit dated and old. Additionally, the vibe is like a club (even more so than most W hotels)
