“A great location for pre-cruise or post-cruise”

This hotel is about a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport and a 5 minute taxi ride to the cruise ships. It is about a 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas. The hotel staff is friendly, the room are clean and the neighborhood is safe and full of restaurants, theatres and other stores. I high;y recommend this location. It is a great value.

“Nice hotel for the price you pay for”

We went to the cruise and stayed in this hotel for three nights before and after cruising. The people worked in the hotel are very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable but a little bit noisy from the street during the night. The location was very good for Metro and buses. It's walking distance to La Rambla, under 30 euro to the air port and under 20 euro to the port of cruise. Wi-Fi worked good and free. We would recommended this hotel.

“Solid”

This hotel is located a mere 15-minute walk from La Rambla, so it's a good location and close to lots of places to eat. The room doors (and possibly walls?) are a little thin, though, so you'll hear anything and everything happening out in the halls. That said, it's good value, safe and clean, for a short stay.

“Barcelona value priced hotel”

The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. The only complain I had was that I asked for a second pillow and am still waiting..., and the beds are too low. But overall its a good value hotel for the price. Nothing fancy but it is very clean and we stayed only 3 nights for before and after taking a cruise. It's very close to las Ramblans, the port, and super close to the subway.

“Excellent two star hotel”

Booked the Paralel because of location & price and previous reviews and although nervous of two star status it was eveything I expected from a two star hotel and more. Service at reception was friendly and helpful and whilst the rooms are basic as you would expect they were perfectly adaquate for a short break and the location more than made up for any shortcomings.

“Good simple hotel”

I used the hotel as a cheaper alternative to a conference hotel nearby. Staff really nice, room clean, neat and tidy, and free wifi which worked. Couldn't ask for much more really and the price was great.

“Convenient Location”

The hotel's best assest is the location. The staff were friendly. The hotel is outdated but was clean. The room is very basic, but we didn't spend a lot of time there so it didn't matter too much. The breakfast offerings were ok, my friend said the coffee was terrible, and that it tasted like dirty dishwater. I think for the price and location, the hotel is great.

“"Love Barcelona"”

hotel was a good value for the money-the breakfast was good and was all you could eat-the hotel staff was friendly and helpful- they suggested places to see, places to eat, and called cabs for us- the location was in walking distance of many attractions! we had a great time in Barcelona!

Area recommendations

Sagrada Familia - Gaudi's and Barcelona's #1 attraction, Park Guell- an outdoor park Gaudi designed, stroll La Rambla, don't miss the National Museum of Art or the Picasso Museum, Gaudi's works are all over Barcelona, I highly recommend a tour of Palau de la Musica Catalana- a concert hall beyond description! There's a lot to see and do in Barcelona and the food is great , too!

“only here for the athletics champs”

A simple functional hotel chosen for its location which suited the purpose of my trip ideally. No more and no less than you would expect from a two star hotel but clean, friendly, good value and no complaints.
