“Quality Service”
A quality hotel with warn friendly staff from the front desk through to house keeping.
“Great Value”
Walking distance to DT Banff, cozy rooms with a great LCD TV and video player. If you are in Banff you don't need more than this as you should be out and about. Highly recommended
“Nice, but a little far from the main business district”
We stayed here for a couple of nights in early July. We chose the place because rooms were available with two queen size beds instead of two doubles at many other hotels in the area, and because there is an indoor pool and underground parking. The hotel is clean and well looked-after. The interior and the furnishings are dated, and the hallways could do with better lighting. This is quiet, pleasant place to sleep, but it is a good walk to get to the main business district. We ate breakfast in the restaurant (bistro) on the main floor. It was okay. I don't think we would try it for any other meals. My only complaint was the staffing at the front desk. There was never more than one person there any time we were in the lobby. I waited nearly fifteen minutes for one customer ahead of me to check out.
“Comfortable and convenient”
This hotel is conveniently located a short distance from downtown as you enter Banff. Hotel lobby is bright and clean. Restaraunt serves basic good food with excellent service. Room was clean abd bed was very comfortable.
“Nice quite well appointed hotel”
Our three night stay was quite enjoyable. The young lady staffing the front desk was downright rude when we asked if an early check-in was available. I should have demanded to see the manager right away. We considered walking away then and there, but we had already prepaid with Expedia. However, a different smiling front-desk staffer greeted us warmly when we returned a couple of hours later. The remainder of the stay was more than satisfactory. The rooms were clean and large enough for the two of us, with a decent view of the mountains. In-room coffee was well stocked. No bed-bugs in a king-sized clean comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with lots of hot water for showers etc., although the pipes made louder than necessary noises when neighbors used water. Breakfast buffet was better than average, and the A-La-Cart selection was extensive and very well prepared. Reasonably priced. Very good service. All hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, apart from the first unfortunate encounter (first impressions are lasting!). Of course, the average age of workers in Banff is early 20s with lots of energy. We would stay there again.
“Great Staff, good location but uncomfortable bed”
We were happy with the staff, location and room in general. However the king sized bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows small. The shower had poor pressure and the toilet was very low. The food in the restaurant was average and could do with improvement as well. Rooms are a good size and the separate sink outside the bathroom can be useful and my wife did like the dressing table. Based on the overall site rating we were disappointed but compared to some other facilities in Banff it is clean, modern and an average price for Banff.
“Nice Banff getaway”
This hotel was clean and comfortable and had excellent staff and the price was very reasonable in comparison to the other hotels in town. The housekeeping staff was kind enough to take my toothbrush and toothpaste off of the counter and place them in a glass. The pool, hot tub and fitness facilities were top-notch and even had locker rooms with showers. The gentleman at check-in was very helpful and offered a room upgrade. The only drawback was that there was no hot water for a shower the first morning. The second morning there was more than adequate hot water. The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
“This is not a 5 Stars Hotel, but I can't find anything to complaint about it”
The Receptionist is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, easy access to indoor pool and hot tub,The lounge and restaurant is right inside with good food. I have a very pleasant stay.
“Great Hotel!”
Great hotel, rooms were perfect! Service was excellent!
“Good value and relatively close to town centre”
