Great location (we could walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants). The hotel restaurant is small but good. Rooms are large. We paid for daily parking at the hotel, but didn't need it. We recommend taking public transport.
Central to downtown. Staff was very accommodating. Helped us navigate the roam transit to Lake Louise and Lake Minniewanka. Carlito’s Pizza the restaurant in the hotel has the best pizza and poutine
Good location. Able to walk downtown or hotel provides a bus pass free. Nice staff. Clean. My room on the main floor overlooked a parking lot and was dark.
This is a good location for exploring Banff. You can walk or drive to town. I would suggest you find out about the Roam bus and take into town, parking is horrible and expensive.
Hotel website mentions complimentary bottled water but it depends on who is working the front desk whether you get it or not.
Carlito’s Pizzaria is a good place to eat!
Good points, comfortable bed, large room, good shower pressure, quiet location, fridge and coffee machine, tv, air-con, friendly staff. Room for improvements, have to pay for parking, dated furniture and carpet, dirty iron, poor quality toilet roll. The stay was very nice and I would return and stay again as the pros majorly outway the cons.
The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. They could use a little more lighting. The hot tub was very nice. We used it daily after long hikes.
The loft suite with 3 queen beds was perfect for us 3 adult women wanting to stay together. It was cozy but had all we needed. Beds were very comfortable. There is a window up high that isn't covered, so light does come in at night. The hotel restaurant had a great breakfast menu that we enjoyed!
Staff were sparse and overworked.
Our $500/night room had not been dusted in probably six months, and I am not exaggerating. During our entire two-day stay, the hallway carpeting outside our room (306) was very damp.
On the bright side, room was spacious with a nice streetside view. Plenty of dining choices within walking distance.
In the quieter part of Banff, but a short bus ride to the "downtown" area. The check in process was seamless and the staff was super friendly. The lobby was cute and cozy, perfect for a fireside chat or having a cup of coffee. The underground paid parking is tight - we were often nervous that if we left with our car then we would not have a spot when we returned.
