"12 nights family holiday. We’ve stayed before at this hotel and we were delighted with our room - ask for a rear view of the nature reserve! Food is always excellent at the Iberostar. We stayed half board so can’t comment on drinks but they looked good. I would say the lighting in the canteen style restaurant needs working on as the ambience was OK for evening dinner. "Second time staying here. Lovely reception area. Friendly staff. Large bedroom with lovely view over the river. Good sized bathroom with plenty of toiletries provided. However bathroom was a bit dated and worn looking in places. The grab bar in the bath was corroded and didn’t look the best. Good choice available for breakfast. Bar menu in the evening was very disappointing. I ordered a toasted sandwich with turkey - it consisted of a toasted bap with about four slices of shiny processed turkey beside it. Did not look very attractive and certainly not what was expected from a four star hotel. Overall I would definitely stay here again as the location and ambience are very good."
