“Great Location”

Reception were somewhat friendly. No understanding why Wi-Fi is not available within the room. You have to obtain a 15 minute ticket from reception. Pool and sauna facilities are great. Bar staff seemed to lack knowledge and stock on cocktails. Dinner staff seemed slow. Breakfast staff were great. Very attentive and quick. Overall... a nice hotel to stay at in Auckland due to its location.

Area recommendations

Auckland city is a fantastic and manageable city. I would recommend to visit the Sky City Tower/Casino, Queen Street and the Viaduct.

“Best hotel to view the Xmas parade”

Huge room. Fantastic bathroom. Perfect location for Auckalnd CBD. Away from the main hub and noise but close enough to walk to Queen St, waterfront etc. Superbr. Defo stay again.

“Good place, good staff, very good restaurant”

The place is good, despite the fact that I had not seen any sense the "underground tunnels to convention centre, etc.". The room is good, The free internet limitation to 100MB high speed, afterwards low speed is acceptable. The high quality japan restaurant has acceptable price range. The reception's recommendation regarding one day bus tours proved to be a very good choice.

“GOOD LOCATION, GREAT PLACE”

ONLY STAYED FOR ONE NIGHT BUT ALLOWED US TO CHECK IN EARLY HAD A BLAST WILL BE LOOKING FOR WARD TO STAY GAIN.THEY HAVE THE BEST BREAKFASTS.

“Good value business class hotel”

We had a good stay here. The only thing that was a little irritating was that the tiles from the shower werent sloped properly so a lot of water went into the bathroom as the shower did not have sides. Otherwise it was really good.

Area recommendations

Central Auckland is close to most places we wanted to go.

“Wonderful hotel”

I can't recommend this hotel enough. The room was large and comfortable. The staff helpful. The pool though small was very nice and there was a good exercise room next door. Car parking in central Auckland is expensive and difficult but the Rendezvous has it's own car park next door that is reasonably priced and easy to come and go. I can't comment about the catering as I did not eat at the hotel as there were lots of local restaurants and cafes near by. I look forward to staying there again.

“Very satisfied with the all round package”

A few steps further away from shops perhaps than other CBD hotels but still near enough and very good quality. The hotel inside is in a sort of drab marble cream theme that the architect should be shot for, but ignoring that and we were very satisfied. If you get the blue bus from the airport (very cheap and reliable) you need to get off at the first CBD stop. The bus stop for the circular bus is pretty near that too.
