“Old Hotel Smoking Room”

We reserved a nonsmoking room. When we got to out room, it was a SMOKING ROOM. The smell was awful. Front desk would not change our room. Simply said, "we are sold out, sorry" This is a very old hotel. Would not stay here, but it was the only one we could find, UGA Homecoming Game.

“Any port in a storm”

The staff was great, both checking in and out. The room seemed stuck in the 70's, but the bed was comfortable. Would not recommend, simply because of the price - but maybe that's standard for all motels in the area on game day. If so, choose a nicer one if it's the same price.

“Miranda”

Very good hotel. Our room looked like it was recently redone. We were pleasantly surprised with how the room looked. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed her to go to the GA game and it was in a very good location. It was not too far from the stadium. Not close enough to walk but a short 5 minute drive.

“Disappointed and Uncomfortable”

OK place to stay if you absolutely insist, but I wouldn't stay more than one night. Definately wouldn't plan an entire weekend or vacation there. I reserved a non smoking room for 4 adults , which I found far too small for us. The room looked clean, had no cigarette odor, but smelled a musty mixture of dirty shoes and strong chemical cleaners . The sliding glass door leading to the patio would not open more than an inch, plus the glass was damaged and should have long since been replaced. The bathroom was quite nice and clean, with the exception of the electrical outlet where the plaster was so damaged that we chose not to take a chance on getting shocked. My main complaint is the air conditioning. It worked fine, but the unit was 6 inches from your face for whoever was unlucky enough to have that bed. So we were either hot or freezing, there was no inbetween. The only plus factor we enjoyed was a quiet room and convenient location. We don't ever plan on booking with this hotel again.

“Good basic room, nice helpful staff, great value”

The hotel is a little on the "tired" side, yet the friendly staff and good location make up for it. The pool hours are a little short, running from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so a morning swim before business is out. The location is good, and it is easy to find. Overall, a good value.

Room smelled so bad that we stayed only one night and moved down the street to another hotel.
