"A very quaint and beautiful space! I imagined it to be like a little cottage in Italy; down the street from the vineyard. New, quality, well decorated place. The flower gardens were so beautiful. It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!"

Great for sitting along the shore on one of the swinging benches, staying inside playing board games, or taking a short drive into Red Wing to take in the sites or have a great meal. "Everything was what we expected. The statements about the driveway are accurate. The only cleanliness issue was the coffee maker had grounds left from previous user. Good selection of movies after a long day fishing. Kitchen had all that was necessary to cook and serve for 6 people dish soap was limited but dishwasher worked well. Gas grill worked well and had plenty of propane for grilling. Overall birthday weekend was a success. Thank you!"

"The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t mind the sound of the trains at night but the blowing train whistle woke us a few times. There are ear plugs there if needed. Unfortunately the lake was over grown with vegetation so we didn’t kayak, but we brought our own bikes and rode the Cannon Falls trail in MN. The trail was beautiful. The owner...

"We really enjoyed our stay here! We went out on the canoe in the morning and it was so quiet and peaceful out there. The lake did get busier later in the afternoon with jet skiers and water skiers, people fishing etc. The ducks and chickens on the property were a nice surprise:) My son loved that. "Room 123 Travel Lodge by Wyndham Redwing, MN. The bath tub looks like it has permanent soap scum. The bath scum does clean off as I scraped it. The tub fills up with water while showering. The drain is slow. The bathroom light is very dim. I stood in the non soap scum area of the tub to avoid skin disease. The shower curtain holder looks like it is falling off. The entry door is dirty. We only had one bath towel for my wife and I. The bed sheet has blood on it. When we made the reservation the online price said $67 after fees & taxes. We ended up paying $88.41. This is a 3rd world styled motel room."
