"Together with two friends who were in a separate room, I stayed two nights in the property in May 2024 Big plusses for me the following: we were in the garden annexe. Ace. That was number one. The location was convenient for the bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. In addition the room was spacious, the bed comfortable. One big negative was that the heating system for my room seemed to be a bit menopausal is it only seem to go for about three minutes and it then cut off. Don’t know if that was accident...

"Taigh Rob is 20 minutes drive from the town of Portree, however it has a nice view and with some attention to it's bathroom facilities ; may be good for walkers or cyclists. There were 6 people sharing the only bathroom, wet-room which also housed the only toilet for all 6 guests. Taigh Rob is not near any inns,pubs,shops, restaurants or cafes. The room was clean but up a difficult flight of stairs.Breakfast was passable.I doubt that this property will meet expectations of many modern...
