“Nice hotel, great location, but hotel beach charges were far too high”

Forthe 2nd year running we visited the Universal, this year in a better, recently refurbed room. Room was great, superb view of the sea although it was a little noisy (by the lift). The big downer was the charges for parasol and sun loungers on the hotel's section of the beach. We only used these for 6 days of our stay but it still cost us 138Euros. This is over the top, especially as the cost were explained at the start of the holiday incorrectly - we expected to pay 90Euros (this still is taking a liberty and over the top). It was a shame because our stay was nice but these charges took the shine off our visit

Area recommendations
Senigallia is a very Italian city on the Adriatic Sea. The Hotel Universal is close enough to the city centre to fell connected, but far enough away to be a haven from the Summer Jambouree. The Jambouree is loads of fun, great music and 50's cars etc, but it does go on late into the night so with an eight year old it was nice to be a little bit away from the centre (5-10 minute walk). The walk does involve a walk through a low tunnel under the railway (on via Panzini) which isn't always well lit and is very busy at times with bicycles (that don't dismount). That said, Senigallia is a nice city to enjoy a family holiday.

“Hotel Universal Senigallia - camere economy non all'altezza”

Abbiamo prenotato tramite expedia una camera economy che si è rivelata molto al di sotto delle aspettative. Arredamento vecchio, camera fredda con un cattivo odore di fogna, bagno senza il piatto doccia con conseguente allagamento in caso di utilizzo della doccia. Le camere non ristrutturate non sono all'altezza di un hotel di tale categoria e del prezzo applicato. Le camere nuove sembravano invece comode e confortevoli

“bravo!”

hôtel familial de qualité: notre chambre était très confortable et bien aménagée, vue sur la mer. Un balcon avec étendoir. Qualité de l'accueil parfaite: les patrons, le mari et sa femme, sont d'une très grande hospitalité et toujours présents. Le personnel est très serviable et sympathique. Le restaurant (buffet) est de très grande qualité et prix très raisonnable (le buffet + boissons y compris vin et bière). Les plats sont renouvelés quasiment 2 fois par jour avec une grande variété, produits de la mer et crudités à sasiété et très frais. Prêt de vélos et navette pour l'aéroport d'Ancona. Parking extérieur. Encore bravo! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

“scegliete la camera rinnovata”

all'arrivo ci è stata proposta una camera completamente rinnovata con un sovrapprezzo da preferire: la camera standard è davvero mesta l'hotel è carino e dispone di una spiaggia privata

“Einfaches aber sauberes Hotel”

Es handelt sich um ein einfaches aber sauberes Hotel. Es liegt direkt am Strand und keinen besonderen Konfort ist aber zweckdienlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder zu einen kurz Urlaub zurück kommen.

Traveller's tip
Diese Hotel ist für Personen die nicht viel wert auf Komfort legen sondern mehr unterwegs sind. Sicher ist es auch für Familien gut weil es direkt am Strand liegt einfach und preiswert ist.

“Non eccezionale, Buon prezzo.”

Stanze un po' vecchiotte. Meriterebbe di essere rinnovato. Nel complesso comunque il personale è cordiale ed il prezzo accessibile.
