Our birthday get away
We live in the area but wanted a night to get away as two of our girls had birthdays. This was a wonderful experience to have a girls night. I highly recommend. The accommodations were clean welcoming and relaxing.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable
We did miss the entrance but more to the fault of the GPS, the host was very kind and met us at the end of the driveway. We only stayed one night but enjoyed the updated inside of the property very much. It was mostly quiet and private. We will stay again if we come back to Holiday Valley to snowboard again! Thanks from Ohio!

The stay was wonderful everything we needed. We were not there that much we were at a show both days. Had a lot of fun playing ping-pong against the owner. Thank you. Wish we could’ve had a few more games. Visit flxammo.com.

Great place to stay
Property owners and house are great. We stayed for a ski weekend and it is an easy 25 min. drive to Holiday Valley. There is plenty of room, very clean, and the ping pong table kept us busy in the evenings. There are goats, chickens, and an awesome dog. We would definitely stay again.

Don't Drink the Water
Pros: kind hosts with excellent service, allowed early check-in, washed my coat, clean, cute goats and chickens, 30 mins from good skiing and hiking Cons: overpriced, most likely contaminated drinking water from taps (everyone that drank the water was sick and had diarrhea for several days), poor water pressure, poor on demand hot water tank (takes 5 mins for hot water), poor drainage around house (we walked through puddles and mud from our car to the door), industrial and impoverished area with no freedom to walk anywhere, an odd pit located next to the goat compound appeared to have a layer of oil floating on it which likely remains from the forner use of the property as a metal scrap yard. An environmental assessment for soil/groundwater contamination and indoor air quality testing should be conducted here.

A Hidden Gem
Our family (2 adults, and 2 adults with a 3 year old and a one year old) stayed here for two nights because of its proximity to Allegany State Park. We were met by our host, Angela, who escorted us to our accommodation. It was absolutely spotless and looked to be very well cared for. The living area, as well as the kitchen, was spacious. The kitchen was nicely equipped, huge counter space and a big fridge. The bathroom was very nice. Large sink. Nice shower. Plenty of towels. There are three bedrooms. The master was nice and has a queen bed. Bedroom 2, although listed as a twin bed, actually has a full bed. Bed room 3 has a twin bed. There is a fourth area that is very large and has a full sized ping pong table which we utilized. The thing that you have to keep in mind is this is a rural area. The property is indeed a working “farmette”, complete with goats and chickens. Our three year old was very interested in the animals and was able to pet the goats, follow the chickens around and watch the goats being milked. The property has assorted farm buildings around. The pictures of the accommodations themselves are completely accurate. You would never know you are on a farm. It’s a beautiful space. Lastly, our host Angela, along with her husband were extremely nice and helpful. She’s an educator and really showed a true interest in explaining how things worked at the property and was very helpful in showing our three year old the animals. A+ experience.

Cheer Competition Sleepover!
Angela & her husband were VERY kind and accommodating to our cheerleaders. This idea to inquire about a place to rent was literally last minute for myself and my daughter but it quickly ended up being a sleepover for the whole squad. It was relatively closer to our cheer competition the very next morning and I'm glad the hosts were very understanding and trusted 11 girls to stay in their beautiful apartments! (There was a neighboring apartment that was available for rent which was very convenient!) It was very clean and has everything that we needed, and if we needed anything extra in the kitchen it was brought right over by Angela. The girls saw the animals in the morning and it was overall a welcoming environment. Thanks so much for hosting us!
