"Memmo Alfama is truly a hidden gem. The terrace/restaurant had a million dollar view overlooking Alfama, paired with amazing food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had what we needed. The location was perfect for our stay, so close to so many major landmarks and allowed us to walk to pretty much anywhere we needed to go. The room was so clean, we got the partial ocean view balcony and it was truly magical. I cannot say enough for much we love this...

"The apartments are excellent, but the sound insulation is just terrible. You can listen to your neighbors talking and join the conversation if you want. It is as if they are inside your apartment. "This room was not as described...There was no king size bed, no library, no BBQ grill, no coffee maker, no lift/elevator, no free parking, no balcony, no communal kitchen. The towels and linens were extremely worn. Loved the location, it was in a neighborhood & easy walk to the City Center. I spent 3 weeks in Portugal and this was the only room not as described."
