“Great Hotel for the price”
My wife and I stayed several days here for the Albuqueque Balloon Fiesta. We found the hotel very comfortable, quiet and close to all major attractions. When we travel, we prefer low room rates to hotel quality. We were very happy with this hotel and although it's not the Hilton, it exceeded our expectations. Clean room, friendly staff and nice continental breakfast...we would stay here again.
“not impressed”
If you want to step back in time this place is for you
“For a location to move around from and in ABQ it is perfect.”
You have easy access to the major highways from that location. Old Town ABQ is close by and the Mountains are just up the road. Alos the are various places to dine at in the area.
“Yuck!”
Room smelled very bad, when I got home my suitcase and all my clothes stunk like the room, had to wash everything!
“Smells like weed”
First room I checked into smelled like Marijuana BIG TIME, walked out immediately. Front desk gave me a larger room but it wasn't much better. Luckily this one did not smell like weed. Room was very hot with the heater on (summer time) when I first walked in. (heater on in both rooms). I turned on the AC which worked ok but it was the only window AC in this large room with a kitchen, dining area and bedroom. Not satisfied...usually i'm easy to please when I just need a bed along the freeway, but this place was hot and nasty.
“Okay for a quick overnight stay”
Not an average quality hotel, but works for a safe and acceptable overnight stay for a reasonable price in an area with outher surrounding better quality hotels.
“Overall-Happy!”
The hotel had a VERY convenient location to every location we had planned to travel. It was clean and the pool area was very nice! Sometimes, if you got up later for breakfast, there would be quite a mess, and one morning there was no milk, no waffle batter, the trash was overflowing and when we asked the gentleman at the desk for more breakfast items or refills, he was not so gentleman like. I also had some problems checking in, as our reservation was made a month prior to traveling and we didn't get one of the nicer rooms, but we made the best of it. Other than that, we really had a great time!
“Driving Through!!”
Nice hotel, but the neighborhood sucked! Somebody decided they wanted to help themselves to my cooler in the middle of the night!! I wouldn't stay there again!
“Please avoid it”
This hotel was a major disappointment. The room was supposedly a non smoking one but the smell was unbearable. The lighting was dim. I put a newspaper on the armchair so I could sit on it. I'm not sure if the hair I found on the bed was my wife's but I assure you I was itching all night.
“It's ok to just sleep, not spend the whole day in. Easy access to major spots.”
Days Inn is a convinient place to stay at if you are just looking for a place, hotel, to just sleep and go on about your day the next day. The A/C work great and the room get very cold or very warm depending on what you like. Didn't try the continental breakfeast but they do serve waffles. I recommend you take your own towels. Towels in the rooms are very rough.
