"Arrived later in the evening, welcome pack was ready for us. Room was small but had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Nice view from seating area in room and in a great location for exploring Whitby. Parking was made easy with a permit which cost £5 for the weekend. We left the car at the hotel for the weekend and walked everywhere. Would recommend this guest house, we had no problems at all during our stay. "

"A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station. Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights. "

"First time at the Fayvan Apartments and we will definitely be back, it really is a little gem of a place. Benita was the perfect host and so friendly (hope you are feeling better). Apartment 4 Only downside - there was over 70+ stairs to climb but don't let this put you off, you only have to climb them once a day if you spend the full day out and about. "It was a lovely little cottage, had everything we could need. Staff were also very helpful. very comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay very much. However the mattresses were a bit hard but that made little difference. We still slept well 😊 would recommend! "
