"I’ve stayed here before and will definitely stay again but only because it is convenient. The room was far too hot, and I remember it being hot when I stayed before. It does make for an uncomfortable nights sleep. There were some idiots banging doors and shouting down the corridor at 3am, not the hotels fault but it did frustrate an already uncomfortable night. The staff were not particularly welcoming. I get like a disturbed their conversation when I checked in rather than feeling welcomed....

"Celebrated our anniversary at Rossington Hall which is a unique amazing place to stay . If you like peace and quiet in serene surroundings this is perfect. Private Hot tub in the garden inside cabins . Hotel room and en-suite gorgeous - second floor no lifts lots of steps . Gourmet food in conservatory compliments to chef . Drink in front of huge log fire afterwards. The house has lots of history it’s like a stately home with wide staircase and lots of small steps leading to interesting nooks...

"A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"
