San Teodoro Hotel Guide - 4 stars Hotels in San Teodoro, Italy

Just back form there, myself, wife and two kids - 9 and 4. Very supportive stuff! Very nice room! Really good breakfast! Private beach - crystal water, soft white sand! Excellent dinners! Sounds like advertising, but we are simply enjoyed every moment there!

The Hotel was nice, with a nice pool area. We had a nicer room as we paid for an upgraded room. We were unfortunately disappointed with the location of the Hotel. Its in an area just outside San Teodoro called Badualga. We were a bit misled on the website in terms of how close we were to the Beach etc. As a result we had to always shuttle to and from the Beach and to the Town Centre at night (based on the hotels hours). Probably in hindsight, we should have rented a car. Also, you had to pay 3 euro round trip per person to the beach and 4 euro to the town center per person for the hotel shuttle. The hotel also wanted 120 euro round trip (per shuttle bus) from the Olbia Airport to the Hotel (absolutely absurd). We paid 5 euro both ways for public transport on a bus.

we had lovely stay. staff were very pleasant. hotel is a long way from the main road and a little way from the beach but the hotel provides buses (not all free). Food was not brilliant. We were B&B but ate at the hotel for two evenings. We had an upgraded room which was lovely but the ducts for the airconditioning for the block seemed to be next to our room and were very noise, especially at night. We tried earplugs but that didn't work. In the end we moved to the sofa bed in the lounge area. It was very comfortable and much quieter but it did mean we had to make up the bed each night and morning. God knows what the maid thought! We visited other blocks to see if they were any quieter and they all seemed to be noisy with the ventilation system.
