"Lovely hotel and staff "

"The only issue we had with the hotel is that we felt that guests were not made to feel especially valued. Finding our room (leaving or arriving) was complicated and no map was offered, nor detailed instructions on how to get there. There was a maze of hallways, stairs and two separate elevators involved in getting there without help with luggage. No offer of a room not requiring stairs. Also, when asked about getting ice, we were told that the only way to get it was to pay room service 5eur to...

"Nice view and balcony. No water except 1 commentary bottle upon arrival. Did not have breakfast due to it costing money so unsure how it was. Probably would try the hotel next to it next time. "

"Easy to park and access. Check in was smooth. Our room was on the second floor with a window looking out to the coast. We could open the window and listen to the waves all night. So close to everything. The bed was amazing! Huge bathtub and lots of warm water. The breakfast filled us up with many options for breads, pastries, coffees…the elevator made it really easy to move our luggage to the room. "

"Mareta View was a perfect place to stay in the Algarve! Our ocean view room with a balcony was amazing!! Perfect location with lots of restaurants in walking distance. No problem parking our car close by for free. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. Hot tub was a bonus plus beautiful Infiniti pool next door to use. Highly recommend! "

"We are a family of 4 and booked a garden view apartment. We cooked in the apartment which is very well equipped. The hotel is in a beautiful setting in a cliff over an amazing beach which is a 5 minute walk. There is a bar by the pool serving all sorts of food. Lagos is a 50 minute walk through the scenic route passing Ponta da Piedade/Praia do Camilo/Praia de Dona Ana, some of the “must see sites” in Algarve. You can also catch a bus to Lagos, stop is by the beach. Lagos is a beautiful town...
