"Wonderful hotel in a great location just down the street from Kalmar Castle and the train station. Shops and restaurants within a five minute walk. Room was clean, comfortable, cozy, and nicely appointed. Warm breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and hospitable. I can’t emphasize enough how welcoming the staff was. I will definitely be staying at Slottshottelet next time I visit Kalmar. It truly felt like a home away from home."

When I asked if the sheets and everything was new or has been sitting around inside the bed for a while , the answer I was given was “ I think so, I don’t know”.
